> 24 hourThis is a great product. I have a 7-inch polisher but I also use a 6.5-inch base. The product clearly mentions that it is for the 6.7-inch base. I bet it can cover even a 7-inch base as it has rounded edges. Works great. I couldnt wait to use it after it was delivered, and decided to give my review in less than 5 hours of use. Great product. Please follow the sponge stiffness guideline for the product to avoid any kind of damage to the car surface. Make sure to apply enough polishing wax to avoid surface scratches/burns.

> 24 hourUpdate: I reordered these pads, and now I am embarrassed i left such a glowing review. They clearly changed these pads since then. All of the pads except the finishing pad (red) are the same lightweight material, with the same stiffness/abrasion. Previously, the yellow pad was the stiffest/most abrasive, but everyone of these are harder. The old pads were like dense foam of varying softness, this stuff is like pool noodle foam. You cant even tell by feel which cut a pad is supposed to be. They also made the cube cuts much more shallow to where they might as well be a foam brick. None of them but the red can even properly spread polish. Its instantly just rubs it off, leaving uneven work area, skipping etc. You have zero work time. Shameful...they should go back to what they had and up the price a little if they have to. Old revew: Ive tried just about all of them. I am a high volume detailer, and I can definitely say these pads are my favorite. They are durable (as a foamy gets anyway), and the cube design does a good job with working the polish, especially with one steps. I like the thickness too. The hook and loop is solid to the back of the pad, even after a year+. Even after they get beat up on eventually, the cube structure allows the undamaged portion to remain useful. I ordered lake country mediums and they felt too thin, got cut up with the slightest defect, corner, or abrasions, and one pad actually flew off the backing after just a couple cars. The cost is no comparison.

> 24 hourI did not realize the importance of using the proper pad for rubbing compounds, polishing, and waxing. I would use the same pad with a rubbing compound and expect it to remove swirl marks. Work myself to death with poor results and then blame the compound. This pad set provides everything you need to remove minor scuffs and scratches from you paint so it will look like new. I have a 2004 truck that had light oxidation and I thought it needed a paint job. I ran across this kit and the results were astounding. I cant speak to how they hold up for a professional but, I can say they held up well for me. Watch a few videos to see how to use them properly and you will be pleased with the results. I used the Dewalt orbital sander with these pads; while misting with a water bottle and, while only using the compound. I say personal preference prevails here but, both methods are effective. Adding more compound and/or water before the pad dries with ensure they last. Also keep them clean for improved performance and longevity. Highly recommend the pads...and watch a few videos for technique.

> 24 hourFirst of all, I dont have loads of experience polishing cars. I was using the wool pads that came with my Makita rotary polisher, but didnt care for the poof factor of the hairy wool - I felt like I wanted more control in tight areas to really see where the pad was meeting the paint. I also didnt want to spend a ton of money on pads because I wont be doing this frequently at all. Suffice it to say, using these foam pads has been an absolute joy! They worked waaaay better than Id hoped, and they didnt shred themselves apart like I feared. Theyre nice & squishy and easy to clean, theyve stayed soft, and even after hours of use Im not really seeing much wear in the little cube slice pattern on them. Outstanding!
