I have Griots G9, and a Flag Blue gel coat on my boat. These pads worked great. I paired these with Jescar Compound, Mirco polish and Power Lock. Used the Heavy cut + compound after 1500/2000 grit wet sanding some fender rash. I didnt have a rotary polisher, thought I was going to be SOL....but worked great. Ran the DA at 6...no problems. Used the light cut on the polish. Used to finish with the Power Lock. No Holos. No swirl. Best results Ive had so far.... NO problems with durability. The pads have a nice little cross cuts in them that hold the polish. Totally durable...will easily last me 2-3 more rounds of polishing, maybe more.

I have used SPTA polishing pads for over 3 years, with great results. Ive often wondered why someone would pay 2-3 times more when this pad gets the results I was looking for, at a fraction of the price? Well today I know. I compared an orange SPTA diamond cut pad to an orange Lake Country HDO pad both 5.5in, using a Griots G9 polisher and 3D Speed polish on a C8 Corvette. Using a glossmeter, I was able to get 5-8 more gloss units with the Lake Country pad than with the SPTA. Though I like getting higher gloss, the issue that has damaged my confidence in SPTA, is when polishing a subsequent car, a brand new 5.5 pad 2 panels in, started to warp and separate from the backing. Though I havent seen this previously, I will be looking for other alternatives.

These pads work extremely well when used in steps from course to ultra fine polishing. Just wash them when finished with soapy water and set them aside to dry and they are ready to use for your next polishing job.

My old buffing pads were worn out. Bought these as a replacement. I used them to buff and polish my daughters very neglected car. Lots of scratches and oxidation. Seven year old car now looks almost new. On one pad the glue failed and the pad separated from the velcro backing. I contacted the manufacturer and the sent me a replacement right away, no questions asked. These are keepers.

The pads fit my electric buffer very well. Changing pads is easy and quick. The different pads work well on different parts of my car.

Ended up needing to sand the polyurethan on my table top, used these to polish the top back to a super high gloss and very smooth finish. Good product so far, only used it one time though.

Ignore the negative reviews of these things “Blowing Apart”. The ONLY way these things are going to nuke themselves is if you use them at some ridiculous speed like 5,000 RPM with them spinning freely in the air and not pressed against the vehicle. I have a much older Makita Buffer that I inherited and it has a variable speed selector of 1-6 and it tells you on the side that each speed is roughly “X” RPMS, I feel like all these people having problems are people who through these things on a body grinder that can hit up to 8,000 RPMS while manybacking pads SPECIFICALLY say to not exceed 3,000 RPMs. The older buffer I think maxes out around 2,500 RPMS. Extremely good results just using the most aggressive pad, extremely easy to clean, I just turned my buffer to the lowest speed and then hit it with a hose and let it fling all the water and compound off. Very very happy with these pads, I wish I would’ve bought them years ago!!!!

Used these with a Meguiar’s buffing compound and a Bosch orbital sander to buff out some scratches on a newer car and also to buff an older truck. Pads stuck to the sander very well and were easy to clean with a water hose. Used the orange and yellow pads for the scratches and they worked better than expected and then used the black pad to finish. Before and after pictures attached.

My harbor freight purchased pads only lasted 2 washes, as the Velcro pad off after washing with a mild soap and rinsing. These are holding up better. Only used one pad so far, and it has held up 3 washes so far with zero indications of it coming apart. As for the polishing, it does as advertised too. Good purchase for the money…so far

Great buffing and cutting pads. Used with a DA polisher. Removed years of heavy swirls from my vehicle. Used a combination of yellow pad with compound and red pad with polishing compound and paint looks smoother than ever. For the heavier swirls, used the green pad with higher amount of compound and then polished with red pad. Awesome results. Cleaned out the pads with water and soap after using and they look good as new.
