I have purchased two packages of L-Citrulline Powder from BulkSupplements, several months apart. I was impressed with the quality of the first package, but was surprised when the second package had a completely different consistency and solubility than the first. I have always been inherently distrustful of the supplement industry due to lack of regulation and the fact that most supplements are made in China where they care little about ensuring safety and quality of ingredients (anyone else remember the melamine in milk scandal?), so it is vital to find a supplement producer that employs its own safety checks to deliver a consistently high-quality product. I thought BulkSupplements was such a supplier, but with the variation Im seeing between two packages, now Im not so sure. I contacted BulkSupplements shortly after opening the bag, in order to report the problem I was seeing with the product, but the customer rep I corresponded with flat out refused to address my concerns. They claim that their #1 priority is for their customers to be 100% satisfied, but this is simply not true. Its a shame because I was a repeat customer and had recommended their brand to several friends. But now, I will likely steer clear of BulkSupplements and I will warn others as well. Study after study shows that most supplements are adulterated with contaminants and dont contain what the label says it does, so customers must be vigilant to only do business with companies that stand fully behind their products and maintain the utmost commitment to quality. BulkSupplements failed to meet that bar. Note the fine print of the return policy on their website, which is not mentioned at all on the Amazon site, nor in the follow-up emails to the customer. Notice how little they stand behind opened products. This policy is the telltatle sign of a company that doesnt want to have to refund customers for products that a customer discovers are of poor quality. Stay away.

Ill preface this review letting you know MY workouts and supplementation are conducive to MY goals. Dont take a supplement or do an exercise without doing your research. You need to know why youre taking what youre taking. You need to know what youre working out and why youre doing it. Im 29 and have been working out since high school. Name the PWO and Ive tried it: NO-Xplode, Jack3d, Craze, C4, Angel Dust (lol, see BSL), Max-HP...honestly, I dont know how many more. 9/10 workouts, I take a PWO. At this point in my weekend warrior workout stage, if there isnt l-citrulline in the PWO, I wont buy it. I was weary buying this much from bulk supplements as it just didnt make sense to me how they could sell that many servings at that price. Dollar for dollar, nothing compares. More importantly, it works....VERY VERY WELL. With a good PWO, I can get to the gym at 5am, get out by 6 no big deal. An hour later, I begin to feel flat. Adding l-citrulline, gives me a perma pump all day long. I tried it for a week straight. Just to make sure it wasnt all in my head, I went without adding it to my PWO and felt exactly how I thought I would.....flat. Bulksupplements delivered a perfect product. Ill definitely buy again.

I purchased this at the recommendation of my coach. I noticed an unpleasant odor like ammonia/bleach after intense training sessions and my coach mentioned a potential imbalance with my urea cycle. 6g/day (I use a food scale to weigh it) and a week later my post-workout yeti odor is gone. I mix this powder with water - it definitely smells like bleach/ammonia - pretty much exactly the odor I was trying to get rid of on my body... but doesn’t really taste like anything. I’ll chug it quickly and chase with water more because of the unpleasant smell than any lingering flavor. It definitely worked for my purposes. Minus one star for packaging - I have large hands and these bags are difficult deal with; ill end up with powder on my knuckles from reaching in to scoop out the powder.

This stuff is a great deal. For the price you really can’t go wrong. I mix this with guarana extract and beta alanine and it makes a great pre workout. I’ve taken pre workouts like mesomorph for many years and this is better than those high-stim pre workouts in many ways. My only complaint is that they could be packaged better and the second batch I ordered was a tad clumpy but no that moisture caused type of clump so not a big deal. I would recommend this product!

my gym buddy told me about this product and after ordering from Amazon I feel Bulk Supplement L-Citrulline this product is clean and value for money...only the packing could have been better as it comes in zip lock bag its sometimes doesnt close well.

Their testing concluded label accuracy, purity, ingredient safety, and efficiency. This is how I choose all my products after being misled by big pharma companies. Finally, I put their L-Citrulline powder to test for the past several weeks. I mixed 6-8 grams of L-Citrulline with a half scoop of preworkout before heading to the gym. I take this as part of a supplement stack in addition to my medication regime treating cardiomyopathy. Approx. 18 months ago my heart ejection fraction (EF) was down to 25% (normal is 50-75%) and I was experiencing frequent breathlessness and angina pain when walking slowly on level ground. I was also experiencing frequent rapid heat beat (tachycardia) episodes, one of which required therapy provided by my pacemaker. I began taking COQ-10, D-Ribose, Magnesium Gluconate, and L-Carnitine 18 months ago, supplementing this regime with other supplements as I continued my research. I began feeling better almost immediately. I added L-Citrulline to my regime early in 2016. I noticed a further improvement in my exercise tolerance almost immediately. I can now walk briskly, climb extensive stairs, and tolerate summer heat with no angina pain or breathlessness. I worked all yesterday in our gardens and on our grounds in temperatures reaching 92 with no problem. My cardiologists report that the frequency of tachycardia episodes has decreased and that they are shorter and less serious. I am not claiming that L-Citrilline works magic, but it has definitely earned a permanent position in my supplement regime.

I am a huge fan of BulkSupplements as they are a safe, clean and pure place to buy my supplements. I recently am feeling like my blood pressure and sugar are not as stable as they used to be when younger, I just turned 58. I do not take any prescription drugs as I feel they are not good for anyone to ingest. I use several powder supplements from Bulk, and yet again found that this 8.8 package was big! very secure when shipped and I just transfer all my supplements into secure glass containers, as I find the zip lock a bit fussy when it gets more use. This company is fabulous, and I have improved my health with their products. I am allergic to wheat, corn and eggs and have a few MTHFR genetic defects which lend to a few distruptions in my health and how I absorb nutrients.
