> 3 dayHaving researched several substances to increase NO production I came across BulkSupplements L-Citrulline. I consider it a good amount of material at a reasonable price and it arrived quickly. I have only been using it (along with their Pine Bark Extract) for a little less than 2 weeks, so I dont know that I can positively report any changes. Unfortunately, I started taking this just as I started a cold. I usually feel lethargic when I have one, but after taking the citrulline for a few days I noticed a much higher energy level. And along with taking the PBE my lungs seemed to clear out easily. I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure so I am looking forward to seeing how this will augment the medication I just started taking. However, this may take up to a month. Do your own research, but citrulline is known to be converted into arginine which then releases NO which can help relax blood vessels. Pine Bark Extract is known to enhance the NOS3 pathway leading to enhanced NO production.

> 3 dayThe 1 kg zip-lock bag of BulkSupplements Pure L-Citrulline Powder arrived intact very soon after ordering. Its a clean, pure white powder which dissolves quickly w/ no lumps. Its almost tasteless. Im taking it as a vasodilator to improve blood circulation. Its looked to me to be less expensive from Amazon than elsewhere. In the past Ive used l-arginine for many continuous months, noting a slight improvement in general energy levels & better circulation, as evidenced by faster healing of cuts & bruises. But Im reading lately that as an l-arginine precursor, l-citrulline actually gets more l-arginine into blood circulation than taking l-arginine directly d/t the digestive system diminishing l-arginine availability. L-arginine then goes on to stimulate an increase in Nitrous Oxide (NO), which then positively effects vascular walls to enhance blood circulation. So Im trying l-citrulline now to get more l-arginine into circulation. I know. Sounds ironic, doesnt it. But read up on it yourself, as I did.

> 3 dayIve been using a particular brand of BCAAs for a while now because of the value, taste, and ingredients. Recently that company reformulated the ingredients and removed the L-Citrulline. Instead of trying to find another brand that I enjoyed the taste of, I bought this product and simply add it to my shaker bottle each morning. Problem solved! Good value

> 3 dayI purchased this at the recommendation of my coach. I noticed an unpleasant odor like ammonia/bleach after intense training sessions and my coach mentioned a potential imbalance with my urea cycle. 6g/day (I use a food scale to weigh it) and a week later my post-workout yeti odor is gone. I mix this powder with water - it definitely smells like bleach/ammonia - pretty much exactly the odor I was trying to get rid of on my body... but doesn’t really taste like anything. I’ll chug it quickly and chase with water more because of the unpleasant smell than any lingering flavor. It definitely worked for my purposes. Minus one star for packaging - I have large hands and these bags are difficult deal with; ill end up with powder on my knuckles from reaching in to scoop out the powder.

20-11-2024I buy this bulk package simply to save money - same great product in look, feel, and taste (as I see it). I use it as part of my daily protein shake - of course I cant guarantee works same, no benchmark possible, just my opinion. Package is easy to use as is - but if you have access to a sealable container you may be better off for storage to transfer for daily use - you NEED to keep the scooper you originally use or received to measure each individual dose --- why, NOT all bulk packs include measuring device - it has been three weeks since I got this bulk pack and I BELIEVE it did have a plastic measuring device inside.

> 3 dayI have purchased two packages of L-Citrulline Powder from BulkSupplements, several months apart. I was impressed with the quality of the first package, but was surprised when the second package had a completely different consistency and solubility than the first. I have always been inherently distrustful of the supplement industry due to lack of regulation and the fact that most supplements are made in China where they care little about ensuring safety and quality of ingredients (anyone else remember the melamine in milk scandal?), so it is vital to find a supplement producer that employs its own safety checks to deliver a consistently high-quality product. I thought BulkSupplements was such a supplier, but with the variation Im seeing between two packages, now Im not so sure. I contacted BulkSupplements shortly after opening the bag, in order to report the problem I was seeing with the product, but the customer rep I corresponded with flat out refused to address my concerns. They claim that their #1 priority is for their customers to be 100% satisfied, but this is simply not true. Its a shame because I was a repeat customer and had recommended their brand to several friends. But now, I will likely steer clear of BulkSupplements and I will warn others as well. Study after study shows that most supplements are adulterated with contaminants and dont contain what the label says it does, so customers must be vigilant to only do business with companies that stand fully behind their products and maintain the utmost commitment to quality. BulkSupplements failed to meet that bar. Note the fine print of the return policy on their website, which is not mentioned at all on the Amazon site, nor in the follow-up emails to the customer. Notice how little they stand behind opened products. This policy is the telltatle sign of a company that doesnt want to have to refund customers for products that a customer discovers are of poor quality. Stay away.
