I could smell chemicals when I sniffed this new bag, so I set it up and have left it open on the patio 3-4 days. It STILL has a bad smell—I need it for some distance traveling in a car and I can’t imagine how bad that would be for a kitty stuck inside with that very strong chemical smell all around him. ‘Returning this ASAP. I’m not putting my cat in it—he’s a 16# Maine Coon Mix so I can’t judge sturdiness, comfort or light weight.

I thought this would be sturdy but its not it doesnt even stand up by itself, it falls to the left or right, my last carrier was REAL sturdy I just forgot it was in my shed! Ha!

This is a great carrier to use locally, quality fabric and bottom is sturdy BUT it cannot be used to travel if you’re using Southwest Airlines. It does not meet their requirements. The height is 3” too high and won’t fit under the seat in front of you as a carry on. See my photo.

I bought this for my 10 pound cat. I thought it would be sturdier.

This is for my cat. Easy to get her in for trips to the vet.

Needed a new carrier to bring my cat to the vet. He is fairly large and weights about 16 pounds, so getting something sturdy and roomy was my primary goal. I can happily say I was satisfied in both of those regards. Having three doors (including one on the top) gives plenty of options for getting your cat in and out. My plan was to put my cat in through the top door so I wouldnt have to lure him in, but he liked the carrier so much that he was already laying in it on his own when it was time to leave for the vet. It is also very easy to fold up nearly flat to store it. Overall, Im very happy with the carrier, especially for the relatively low price.

I like how this cat carrier is roomier for my cat

Got two of these in medium size. It was a good amount of space for my cats (one of my cats is super long). They seemed to be content with the space provided and it was sturdy.
