My skin loves this sunscreen! This is the second summer I have been using California Baby. I have very sensitive skin and cant take the other harsh chemiclal brands. I have no reaction to this and it does an excellent job protecting my skin from the sun. It stays on quite well, even in the pool and during my sweaty workouts.

Works well. My son is very sensitive to sunscreen and this is the only one he can use without breaking out in hives.

my son started to get psoriasis on his arm and it was because we started using a spray sunscreen, which is likely the case. After applying this lotion, his skin started to clear up in about 3 days.

This is the only sunscreen that my family will use. It is truly fragrance free.....meaning that it doesnt leave that scent behind that the ones the drugstores sell that claim to be unscented. It is the most water-proof sunscreen weve ever used. I have small children and I can put this on them before sun and swimming and we can stay out about 4 hours without burning and without reapplying the product. Wouldnt go a summer without it.

I have been using this product on my children for over 10 years. It is the BEST sunscreen for protection. It has a thicker consistency and definitely goes on white. It leaves a white sheen on the skin, that no one likes. However, my children are always protected and have never received a sunburn while using this product as directed. Whenever we try other products (even with SPF of 70), they always seem to get too much sun on their faces and it runs into their eyes. This stuff has staying power. My children say that this is the only sunscreen they have ever used that doesnt run into their eyes or sting when they are at the beach or pool. If you are looking for excellent protection, this stuff is it!

Yes, this product leaves a little bit of a white residue on your skin, and you have to rub it in really well. However, I have yet to have a sunburn while wearing this product. Even after hours upon hours out at the beach (not even re-applying like they recommend, oops!) I come back from the beach with no burns. You probably will not get a great tan using this product, but you will tan a little bit for a sun-kissed hue. I would take sun-kissed and un-burned skin any day over frying in the sun. Best sunscreen I have tried to date! Highly recommended!!

Best Sun Block

My daughter contacted me on Sunday and asked that I order three different sunscreen products from a drug vendor. I tried and they didnt have two of them. I got on amazon and ordered them. Amazon uses the lowest price algorithm to select the vendors, I guess. Anyway, three different vendors were selected and I used expedite shipping (a few business days). The cost of each item was about the shipping and handling on them. One came in on Wednesday, one on Thursday, and one on Friday at 3 PM. I was pulling out the drive to meet my daughters family at the beach and we decided to check the mailbox again. The products are great! One vender was excellent! One okay! One lousy when looking at due date performance! I would have really been upset if it had come after we left for the beach vacation. I really would have preferred all of the items to be shipped from one location (the same [..] company) and I probably would have saved significantly on the handling costs (the sum of the local optima is not necessarily the total optimum). I figured 5 business days is not equal to 2-3 business days!

I used this all of last summer on my baby who was under 9 months old. I was especially hesitant to use regular sunscreens at her young age since their skin absorbs everything. This has a great EWG rating, so I felt better knowing we were using something safe for her. It isnt always possible to wear long sleeves and a hat outside (we usually had a hat on her at least), so I needed this for extra protection. Additionally, my family likes to vacation at a cabin by a lake here in Utah. We like to joke there is a hole in the ozone in that area because EVERYONE gets terrible sunburns there. I am proud to say my baby did not even suffer from somewhat pink skin after using this sunscreen even after a full day outside. It is a little thick to put on and left her skin a little white, but honestly it is so worth it to keep her safe from chemicals and sunburns. Overall, I am a very happy momma and will continue to use this sunscreen in future years.
