Paper is able to bring out the colors and is nice to draw on. Looking forward to trying out with my pastels. The reasonable price encourages me to be adventurous as a beginner.

A bit disappointed with this paper. First, its about as black as construction paper and the same weight. Which means you can only use so much water, so no washes or multiple layers of color without buckling. Does a decent job with color sticks, crayons, colored pencils. Still searching for a super rich, black stock with good tooth and weight.

Not as thick as I thought it would be but it’s perfect for what I need it for. Works great with my colored pencils.
