The texture of the paper works great with charcoal / chalk pencils. Not so much with the waxed based color pencils. If youre new to black paper drawing, like me, this is a great size pad to start with.

I didnt expect it to be so massive. No pun intended.

This paper is thick and holds up well to acrylics. Colors pop off the pages. I will most definitely be purchasing more.

This does not work with standard colored pencils (Crayola or RoseArt) and this was specifically what I purchased it for.

Definitely would buy this sketch pad again, nice quality and arrived quickly, just what I needed for my beginner artist.

Over priced. Not good for water color, or calligraphy writing with any kind of ink. I found better paper at my local Dollar Store.
