Got this so I could do marker work. Very smooth paper which is great for inking with a nib. I havent tried watercolors on it yet, but the paper holds up pretty well against acrylics.

This is my go to when it comes to sketch books and I really like it. I like the thickness of the paper but it isnt that good for realistic drawings. I recomend toned paper to add better highlights. This is for beginners

Love this sketchbook! Very durable and I can use almost any medium in it.

I really like how thick this paper is, I’m using it for sketches and paint. It does curl a lot if you’re using watercolor, which is what I wanted it for initially. But it’s good for acrylic paint and marker so it’s still good.

Ive been using this type of sketchbook for years and absolutely recommend to any artist. Paper is think enough that ink doesnt bleed through, cover is well made and the spiral bound holds the pages nicely together. If you want to take one of your pages out, no worries! The pages are perforated so you can tear them out easily without getting that spiral edge.

We have purchased four of these sketch pads in our family. I like it. The paper quality is very good - just right weight and feel. great for pencil/ink sketches, watercolor pencils, and sparingly-used watercolors.

Works great for most art supplies with no problem. Alcohol based markers will have some ghosting and blled through depending on how many layers you apple to the paper.

My children love these sketch pads and they’ve held up in their back packs.

I wanted to get into sketching so I was on the fence about which book I should get. I am definitely happy I stuck with this one. The materials aren’t cheap and it shows. It’s not too heavy and it’s the perfect size. At least for me, everyone is different. But if your considering sketching and not sure if this one is worth it then trust me when I say it is.
