Used this for my boat

I wanted a switched 12 volt source for my wireless phone charger and my flashlight charger. This got the job done. Neatly tucked away out of sight.

Everything as advertised. I simply tapped the hot (and ground) on the map light in my car to add a USB for dash cam power in the headliner. Less than 15 minutes to get everything done. Very happy.

Small size allows for installation almost anywhere you need. However, it would have been better if the incoming power wires were a little longer

Placed this adapter inside my RAM 2500 headliner with 2 short USB cables to power my dashcam and TPMS. Tied into switched 12V power for rear glass switch. Everything tucked away neatly and out of site.

Would barely run a USB LED light bar. They were significantly dimmer on this USB step down than on a 2.4A USB hub, so I assume its 1.5A per port, not 3A each.

Very easy install in celica. You need to add a fuse cut off just incase of a short.

I bought this product to wire in my wireless phone charger and my under-dash LED lights. I first had both wired directly into my fuse block which helps regulate the amps going to the 2 items. It is a really solid product and was easy to tie up under my dash. If you are trying to power some stuff in your car that you want to wire into the car and not plug into the cigarette port, this is the way to go.
