Greater than one weekAdded two powered usb charging ports to a Maestro dash kit. Worked and fit great. Took power with two taps off the 12v outlet on the passenger side.

> 3 dayI used these to install dash cameras and the last batch has had three fail out of four. It appears that they are overheating when installed between the headliner and roof of the car, causing the power to cycle on and off (or just stay off) going to the USB port. This might be good for a home project, but I strongly recommend going a different route if you are going to use these in a car.

> 3 dayWould barely run a USB LED light bar. They were significantly dimmer on this USB step down than on a 2.4A USB hub, so I assume its 1.5A per port, not 3A each.

Greater than one weekSmall size allows for installation almost anywhere you need. However, it would have been better if the incoming power wires were a little longer

> 3 dayWorked perfect to replace my existing one in camper to power wifi router. It was identical and had usb but I bought a usb plug with correct power adapter at end to plug in to the usb and to my router. Total install time took 3 minutes.

> 3 dayThis unit is small enough to conceal easily and the USB ports are sturdy and the cords are about 6 inches long to place where needed.
