> 24 hourI wired this up under the dashboard of my car and routed the end of the charging cable up through a vent. Makes for a super clean appearance.

> 24 hourWould barely run a USB LED light bar. They were significantly dimmer on this USB step down than on a 2.4A USB hub, so I assume its 1.5A per port, not 3A each.

> 24 hourI wanted to add some extra usbs in my vehicle for electronics I take when I travel. This was very easy to install and hide

> 24 hourThis unit is small enough to conceal easily and the USB ports are sturdy and the cords are about 6 inches long to place where needed.

> 24 hourVery easy install in celica. You need to add a fuse cut off just incase of a short.

> 24 hourI used these to install dash cameras and the last batch has had three fail out of four. It appears that they are overheating when installed between the headliner and roof of the car, causing the power to cycle on and off (or just stay off) going to the USB port. This might be good for a home project, but I strongly recommend going a different route if you are going to use these in a car.

> 24 hourWired to automatic rear view mirror wiring. I have a GoPro mounted to the front side of the mirror and I use my iPhone in a RAM Mount on the front windshield while racing. Now I don’t have to change batteries during a race weekend. Works awesome.

> 24 hourI wanted a switched 12 volt source for my wireless phone charger and my flashlight charger. This got the job done. Neatly tucked away out of sight.

> 24 hourUpon inserting the male end of USB ports (I tried several) two things happened - The two do not completely engage. They easily fall apart. I had planed to put this under my dash and hook up my GPS and dash cam to them. No confidence in it now and O have not even tried to power it up. Whats the point? Could have been a five start if it just would have held the connectors together securely. I may try using shrink tubing around it but that does not excuse poor fit.
