> 3 dayI bought this product to wire in my wireless phone charger and my under-dash LED lights. I first had both wired directly into my fuse block which helps regulate the amps going to the 2 items. It is a really solid product and was easy to tie up under my dash. If you are trying to power some stuff in your car that you want to wire into the car and not plug into the cigarette port, this is the way to go.

> 3 dayI bought this as part of my Acuras entertainment system upgrade to add a second USB port. The primary port is from the updated carplay stereo. I ended up mounting the USB in the dash panel under the stereo using two square USB connectors and attached this to one of them. NOTE: I am only using ONE of the USB ports from this device. For my use case, this unit works great.

Greater than one weekWorked perfect to replace my existing one in camper to power wifi router. It was identical and had usb but I bought a usb plug with correct power adapter at end to plug in to the usb and to my router. Total install time took 3 minutes.
