A little goes a long way, and even though we change out the cage once a week, it really isnt necessary using this bedding. There is no smell and it is very absorbent.

Bought to add to my hamsters nesting house to make him more comfortable especially in the winter. I only use 2-3 handfuls. Initially, he hated it but after a day he likes it.

We did not like this. It wasnt very absorbent and didnt do much for the smell.

Awful. Absolutely the worst bedding I have ever used. Felt like straight cardboard, more like packing peanuts than rabbit bedding. Some pieces were so firm and clumped together, I could bang them on the floor and they made a loud knock sound. I only kept them in her cage for one night until I managed to run to the store the next day. Extremely strong smell, like cleaning supplies. Thank god my bunny didnt get hurt. They didnt absorb ANYTHING, there was a whole wet puddle in her hutch and the bedding was just clumped around it. I spot clean her hutch daily and do a full clean out every Friday, so there is no reason that after 24 hours of using this bedding, her hutch smell was filling up the room. Perhaps I got a super defective batch, but it couldve been dangerous so I encourage everyone to be careful.

I use this in littler pans in my guinea pigs fleece-lined enclosure. Works great, but is too expensive to buy at the stores. Thank you Amazon for having it at a price we can manage.

I thought I would receive 8 bags of the Carefresh Custom bedding, which has larger bedding pieces. The product details state that the bedding pieces are larger and perfect for nesting for rabbits and mature guinea pigs. Unfortunately I got the regular Carefresh Complete bedding which is smaller pieces. Oddly there must be a bagging mix up, because it says Custom on the bag but its not. Disappointed but I have to just use this because the bags are too darn heavy for me to return. This is why I order online in the first place, to have it delivered.

Works well for our Guinea Pigs. Just wish it had a better smell.

Absorbent and comfy for guinea pigs, but this kind has a very unpleasant odor to it.
