> 24 hourHave a door that constantly slams when I need to let the room cool with a cross wind and got tired of using the piano stool. This is quite a bit smaller than I expected and I was unsure if it would work, but actually works well. Its small enough that my 17 month old grandson could pick it up and carry it around, so might not be wonderful with very small kids as could hurt if they dropped it on a foot. Otherwise, I recommend this. Its adorable.

> 24 hourI have a pantry door that would not stay all the way open (my house is not perfectly level). We love dachsunds and when I found this I immediately ordered it. It is perfect in every way! It is heavy enough to keep my pantry door open when Im going in and out putting up groceries or when Im gathering items needed to prepare a meal. I like that I can use my foot to slide the dachsund out of the way if I want to shut the door and use my foot (I have back problems) to slide it back to hold the door open. Its the perfect weight to hold the door but also not so heavy that it leaves an indentation in my flooring. I also purchased the dachsund paper towel holder in cast iron for my kitchen. I love the cast iron!!

> 24 hourIts a lot smaller than I wanted, but for the price, it is about the right weight for its size. I just wanted bigger but that would have made it a bargain. It has an obvious seam right down the middle...as if you could cut the dog in equal halves right from head to tail down the back. The bottom seam is split and not welded solid, so craftmanship is...what craftmanship?! Outside of that it feels pretty solid for two halves put together. It is an economical decorative. If you compare the prices of some resins which dont even have much weight to be a doorstop, they are ridiculously overprice. This could be a doorstop or a lovely garden statuary and not blow away or be knocked over easily.
