Just What Was Needed

Poorly made! Half of the face is BARELY RECOGNIZABLE as any kind of a dog, let alone a dachshund! It also has sharp edges on the legs and feet, I pray I dont trip over it in the night...ive already broken my foot once this year! Ive seen better workmanship from stuff from the dollar store! It is also WAY smaller than it looks. I would return it, but it appears that I am unable to do so. I guess its a good thing that the hallway door Im going to use it to keep open is not brightly lit.

Its a lot smaller than I wanted, but for the price, it is about the right weight for its size. I just wanted bigger but that would have made it a bargain. It has an obvious seam right down the middle...as if you could cut the dog in equal halves right from head to tail down the back. The bottom seam is split and not welded solid, so craftmanship is...what craftmanship?! Outside of that it feels pretty solid for two halves put together. It is an economical decorative. If you compare the prices of some resins which dont even have much weight to be a doorstop, they are ridiculously overprice. This could be a doorstop or a lovely garden statuary and not blow away or be knocked over easily.

Nice and heavy

Has good heft and keeps the door open. Very cute. This was a present for Xmas and it worked out fabulously.

Welds are a little rough but its cute as a bug!

I got this doorstop for my father-in-law who lost his former dachshund doorstop to my mother-in-law. It serves it’s purpose great!
