This was used to run a direct line from my router in the hallway under the carpet and into my office. So far after using for awhile not only are our speeds fast but a visual inspection of the cable under the carpet appears that it is holding up quite well. Its flexible enough too that its not a pain to work with. Id defintely recommend.

This is high quality cable, thicker than most, and with a high quality gold plated connector. The only negative thing I have to say about this cable is that I would have preferred if the connector was actually fused to the cable. As it is now, crimped plastic on plastic, I feel less confident that it will stand the test of time. Do I take a star? No, because as it is, it performs well and is made well. If the connector head does in fact pop off in the future, Ill come back and update this review. In the meantime: Five Star CAT 8 Network Cable

I got tired of using wifi on my pc, and recently switched internet providers and had the router put closer to my computer. It was a dramatic upgrade from using internet over wifi even tho I have great signal, this was night and day. Theres not a whole lot to review here other than to say its a high quality cable and very well made, and does the job its supposed to do, and it does it well!

I chose this CAT8 cable for its indoor/outdoor rating and its suitable for direct underground bury without conduit. This is perfect for an upcoming project requiring roughly 20ft of cable to be buried underground between the main residence and a detached garage with office space. This CAT8 cable is backwards compatible with current 10/100/1000mbps equipment and will simplify upgrading my network equipment in the future up to 40 Gigabit speeds. This is top of the line cable that is design supported the fastest network transmission speeds. I highly recommend this to anyone that has an outdoor or underground application or to anyone wishing to futureproof their current network infrastructure.

Comes rolled and it will be kinked when you first take out of the package. Let it rest for a few days to relax and then you will be able to get the kinks out and have it straightened. I tested at 1gpbs speed and it seems stable, but unable to test higher speeds in my home. This will work well if you need to run a data line to a room on the other end of most apartments and even small homes. Most work from home needs to be wired and you need a quiet place, so this allows you to run a data cable for your computer to a quiet room.

The cat 8 cable worked perfect for me, i needed to run a cable from my router to pc and it came with the clips to hang it so I didnt have to run it along the floor. The cable is rather thick compared to most ethernet cables but wasnt an issue overall. You can bend it and it holds the shape you want.

I have a Google Chromecast located on a TV far enough from the WiFi router that it glitches on 4K streaming content sometimes, so when I saw this, I decided to wire it up to ethernet. It solved my issues. It is an old-school round cable, not flat, but its not so stiff that you cant maneuver it around furniture and obstacles. I have it running under an area rug to get across a hallway, and although you can slightly feel it under the rug, it feels like it wont wear through, and so far there have been no issues. Even though I didnt have to go too far, the 50 foot length gave me enough length to go behind couches, along floors, etc. with not too much left over. The connectors themselves are high-quality as well. I would highly recommend this if you dont mind the round cable style as opposed to flat.

I read that a CAT 8 would be over kill for a home set up but I love it with myself gaming as well as my husband and my kids using their electronics. It’s a great length as well.

For some odd reason my internet became support spotty and terrible during the work day. The ethernet cord came in through the clutch and it improved my internet connection. The cord is a decent length and the thickness is great.
