I needed this for my work area at home and it definitely did the job, it’s just like the picture, if you’re like me and need a Ethernet cord to stretch from one room to another this the cord you need.

The cat 8 cable worked perfect for me, i needed to run a cable from my router to pc and it came with the clips to hang it so I didnt have to run it along the floor. The cable is rather thick compared to most ethernet cables but wasnt an issue overall. You can bend it and it holds the shape you want.

My husband is radiologist who works from home. In order to transfer CT and MRI scans from the hospital network to his home workstation (6 monitors!!!) we need commercial-grade internet connectivity. With a recent hospital PACS system upgrade he needed a higher caliber ethernet cable. Although Cat 8 is way over-engineered and overkill it definitely works and is future-proofing his workstation.

This is high quality cable, thicker than most, and with a high quality gold plated connector. The only negative thing I have to say about this cable is that I would have preferred if the connector was actually fused to the cable. As it is now, crimped plastic on plastic, I feel less confident that it will stand the test of time. Do I take a star? No, because as it is, it performs well and is made well. If the connector head does in fact pop off in the future, Ill come back and update this review. In the meantime: Five Star CAT 8 Network Cable

This appears to be a really well made cable. It is very flexible and easy to run. The connectors are sturdy. Transfer rate is at the max of my system. Don’t have the equipment to do a technical performance evaluation but I suspect it would perform very well.

This cable works so well that I ended up buying more so I can rewire my whole house. Im getting max speeds and I see no drops in connection like I was experiencing with an old cable. Highly recommended for upgrading your network!

I did not try to test this cable for high speed data transfer so I cannot confirm whether it meets CAT 8 requirements. However the cable gauge appears to support high speed traffic. I did use it in my home office to connect my router to 1G Ethernet switch which includes a Synology Network Attached Storage unit. Traffic is smooth. The connectors lock solidly. Id rate this a good value.

I read that a CAT 8 would be over kill for a home set up but I love it with myself gaming as well as my husband and my kids using their electronics. It’s a great length as well.

For some odd reason my internet became support spotty and terrible during the work day. The ethernet cord came in through the clutch and it improved my internet connection. The cord is a decent length and the thickness is great.

This is a really sturdy cable. The outer insulation feels really thick and durable so you can pull it through a wall, and not worry about it getting nicked or snagged. The clips were a great bonus surprise if you need to run along the surface of a wall. In my case I saw 3x speed improvement over WiFi, and I can access the entire internet with this cable, so I would highly recommend it.
