Rated for direct burial, this is a rugged Ethernet cable, perfect for outdoor applications. Its rather stiff due to the rating. Wasnt a problem for my use, but could pose issues if you need to make tight radius turns

This is probably going to be a pretty short review, because cables are usually a simple product. We have gigabit fiber internet to our house, and none of my devices are currently equipped with NICs that can handle Category 8 speeds. So, while I cannot attest to its prowess at 40 gbps, I CAN say it is an extremely well-built cable that will likely last decades or longer, and regular gigabit is no problem here. A solid heft, thick protection which I have no doubt is impervious to all average household radio interference, and those RJ-45 connectors are incredible! A bonus was the included cable hooks! My wife and I are currently trying to buy a house, and I will definitely make use of those as I wire up our respective home offices. Just an excellent product all-around.

This was a perfect upgrade for me! I am almost embarrassed to admit it was replacing a cat 5 configuration. So the upgrade was very noticeable immediately! The cable is longer than I actually need which is great for flexibility when hooking it up or changing it around. The included hangers were easy to use and keep my data cables from being a completely tangled mess! The cable was not wound so tight that it was difficult to unroll and place like Id like which has been a common problem with other cables Ive had lately. I didnt run a speed test but I could definitely tell there was a huge upgrade. The connector ends are made well and are tight in the port but also easy to remove. I tested unplugging/plugging it several times and dont feel it will break at the tab like many cheaper-made cables Ive had in the past.

Im reviewing the MEIPEK brand Ethernet cable described as: Cat 8 Shielded Ethernet Cable 30ft, Heavy Duty High Speed Network LAN Cable 40Gbps 2000Mhz, SFTP Shielded Cat 8 Internet Cable Direct Burial, Gold Plated RJ45 Cable for Gaming/Modem/Router(10 Clips) I needed a 30 Ethernet cable that was rugged and shielded enough to run outdoors between my upstairs router and a TV downstairs that was installed in just such a location as to not get sufficient Wifi reception from any of my three Wifi routers. This cable is doing the job perfectly! Like many buyers, I dont actually need Cat8 speeds (if you are lucky enough to have Gigabit fiber Ethernet to your home, that only requires Cat5 on your LAN to keep up unless you have a lot of fast devices trying to talk to each other on your local network), but its good to future proof. The boots on the jacks are well constructed and dont look like theyll break easily (a common failure point on Ethernet cables). The outer jacket looks exactly like what Id expect for an SFTP cable suited for direct burial -- good quality, thick PVC. The only thing that was a detractor was that they included white cable clips for a black cable. Fortunately I had some black clips to use, so I didnt use the ones they sent. Overall, this is a cable thats a good value at its price point (currently $23.99).

This cable is very substantial. So many network cables are pretty thin these days which I personally don’t like. I want something that can take some wear and tear and this does just that. The speed and performance are great and would purchase again.

Man this thing is heavy duty. Shielding is great because this cable is thick and heavy. It’s got good plating on the connectors. Seems like a great cable

This cable is just what I needed. I needed a cable thar was long enough to run from my router on one side of my room to my Docking station that was on the other side of the room. Ive been using the cable for a week now and running speed tests on different sites and receiving the same results. I love this cable and would recommend this cable to anyone who is looking to update their speed and not use wifi. I did not use the hooks and nails that came with the package.

I am using this to connect my PC to a far away jack. It is running just as fast as with an 8ft patch. I feel I dont need to worry about stepping on this or pinching it against the wall when moving my desk. The plugs are better than the normal ones i use. I dont think the retaining clip is going to break off if I look at it funny.

This 50-foot ethernet cable is top-quality. While Ive got no test to prove its made off oxygen-free copper, I can say it does facilitate high-speed data transfer. Connected to a gigabit ethernet switch, uploads and downloads are fast, and precise- even at the 50-foot length of this cable! Construction quality is the real story, though. This cable is professional-quality, featuring a THICK PVC jacket, gold-plated shielding on the connectors, and plastic reinforcement boots where the cable meets the connectors. The cable is thick, but highly-compliant- for easy runs, and the connectors look and feel robust. As a nice touch, the cable came with a packet of 15 cable clips, with tacks. This is a very nice cable.

I speed tested this cable over a 1GB fiber connection. As you can see in the attached photo, I was able to realize speeds of over 900Mbps up and down. The cable was not so stiff that it was hard to bend. Not sure how to find out if it is truly CAT 8. It comes with hangers to suspend the cable along a wall.
