> 3 dayI received the Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 50 ft, SFTP Gold Plated RJ45 Shielded LAN Network Cable, and Im impressed with the quality and performance of this cable. First off, the construction of this cable is top-notch. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors and shielded design provide excellent protection against interference and noise, ultimately creating a stable and fast connection. The line is also sturdy and durable, making it a reliable choice for everyday use. But what sets this cable apart is its speed. I use it to connect my Mac Mini M1 to my network, and it works flawlessly with the 10GB LAN port, delivering fast data transfer rates. As a result, I can transfer large files and stream high-resolution videos without any lag or buffering. Overall, I highly recommend this Cat 8 Ethernet Cable to anyone needing a high-quality, high-speed Ethernet cable. Its an excellent choice for gamers, content creators, and anyone demanding a reliable and fast network connection. I also appreciate the length of this Cat 8 Ethernet Cable - 50 ft is more than enough for my needs and provides plenty of flexibility regarding where I can place my devices. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for a high-quality and reliable Ethernet connection.

> 3 dayCat 8? That seems pretty future proof. My entire home is Cat 5 and Cat 6, but a Cat 8 is ready for upgrades and improvements that we havent seen yet. Ill be testing the weather proof features immediately. Ive strung this cable out across the yard, to a WIFI repeater on a pole. And, it is the beginning of spring - there are a lot of storms due in the near future!

Greater than one weekThis is some seriously well made ethernet cable. If youre upgrading to a higher throughput cable, youve come to the right spot, as this is the highest speed cable spec you can at the moment -- Cat 8. I got this MEIPEK cable replace some ancient Cat 5 cable for my home setup as Im planning to upgrade my local LAN to 10 gigabits this year. I do not have that installed yet so I cannot test that level of throughput but can vouch for it handling gigabit just fine. I can also attest to the high build quality, so I feel like youre getting value for money with this brand. The pricing is competitive, so even if you do not have immediate plans for higher than gigabit, why would you go for a lower standard now? The only potential downside to this cable would be that it is the standard thick round form factor. Depending on where you plan to install the cable, one of the flat style cables might work better. Im not reducing my rating of 5 stars for that since it is a known feature, and doesnt matter for my installation. There are plenty of competitors in this market, so I cant say that it is better than all the rest, but I can say that I doubt any are better.

Greater than one weekMy husband is radiologist who works from home. In order to transfer CT and MRI scans from the hospital network to his home workstation (6 monitors!!!) we need commercial-grade internet connectivity. With a recent hospital PACS system upgrade he needed a higher caliber ethernet cable. Although Cat 8 is way over-engineered and overkill it definitely works and is future-proofing his workstation.

> 3 dayRated for direct burial, this is a rugged Ethernet cable, perfect for outdoor applications. Its rather stiff due to the rating. Wasnt a problem for my use, but could pose issues if you need to make tight radius turns

> 3 dayI ordered this to only discover that my laptop does not have an ethernet port and neither does the dock, so I have had to order a USB to ethernet converter.

> 3 dayThis is premium top of the line Cat 8 Ethernet cable at a great price. The cabling even comes with wall clips to fasten the line along the edge if needed. Nice product and allowed for fast speeds with no intermittent issues. You cant go wrong with this product if you require 30ft worth of Ethernet cable. I will definitely buy this again if I find myself needing to run another line.

> 3 dayComes rolled and it will be kinked when you first take out of the package. Let it rest for a few days to relax and then you will be able to get the kinks out and have it straightened. I tested at 1gpbs speed and it seems stable, but unable to test higher speeds in my home. This will work well if you need to run a data line to a room on the other end of most apartments and even small homes. Most work from home needs to be wired and you need a quiet place, so this allows you to run a data cable for your computer to a quiet room.

Greater than one weekThere isnt much to review. It works great as an ethernet cord. I do love that it is long enough so that if I decide to move my desk it will follow without hesitation. My computer is right next to the ethernet connector so I left most of it tied up. I was advised by my trainer in class that the Cat 8 is very good and helps to protect your information, so I got this to upgrade from a Cat 6. Everything is running smoothly, no glitches or hesitations. I work from home so I need to make sure that I am up to date on what will help my system run smoothly and help with protecting what goes in or out.
