> 24 hourThe hoops are fine - though you may get a few in the bunch that have a harder time closing or a splinter or two, but overall good quality. I came back to buy more and I see they are saying you are saving $5 which, is a lie. I understand pricing for Amazon goes up and down, but this is literally $1 less than it was last week (and that was going up $4 from a few months ago. I dont appreciate the deception.

> 24 hourNo store near me had 5 hoops in stock, which I wanted for crafting Christmas tree ornaments as gifts - Christmas fabric, felt on back, ribbon on rim. These hoops are uniformly well made , but inexpensive, so I was pleased to find them. Fast shipping, protected in shrink wrap in a box. I would order again.

> 24 hour1 of the hoops in my order had slightly bent hardware that made it almost impossible to tighten when I used it. I threw it away. The rest did just fine, and I’ll probably even order them again because they’re so *cheap*! Just know that once in a while you’ll get a few messed up ones. Hopefully not in every order though.

> 24 hourDid not like the extra bolt on the end of the screw. Made it very hard to tighten while holding the fabric in place.

> 24 hourUPDATED: I just reordered these because I did like the first order. Now it’s a different set of hoops: lighter washed wood and NO holes to screw it tight. See picture. I just hate ordering it multiple times but getting different alterations of the product. Overall, these hoops are great and I love how you can use a screw driver to tighten them. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is a couple of the hoops have imperfections on the wood. Not a huge deal but it does draw attention. For sure will be buying again because it’s a great deal.

> 24 hourI didnt get any unusable ones in the pack. On the last one, the inner hoop was a little out of round, but once the outer hoop was tightened over it, it looked fine and held the fabric. Here and there you can find a small fiber sticking up from the bamboo, which is easily removed. No problems with the screws.

> 24 hourI bought these specifically to display embroidery in, one of them broke after arrival while I was placing the embroidery in it to prep for display, the wood just wasnt strong enough, so I wont be using these for long term sewing in. They were fine for the one project and then hanging.

> 24 hourThe main thing I look for in purchasing embroidery hoops is the type of tightening screw/knob used on the hoops. I like the type of knob where I can insert a phillips screwdriver, if needed, to further tighten the hoops together. When I saw these hoops and even zoomed in on the advertised picture I saw these had the type of knobs I like so I made my purchase. I was very, very disappointed upon receiving my order and seeing that the knobs were NOT phillip-type, but only flat-head (see picture), the type I totally dislike. I didnt even open the plastic packaging and immediately returned them and now I am submitting my review. I find it very offensive when companies advertise one thing but deliver sub-par performance, which is what this company did. I know I have to give a star rating because this review will not get published without doing so. If it was possible to give a negative star rating I would, so 1 star (and even that is more than they deserve) is what I am giving them.

> 24 hourThis is the right size for making Christmas ornaments.
