> 3 dayNote: Ive bought hoops from this company before and have never had this happen before. NONE of the hoops I received were round. Once the material is in and everything is tightened, its not QUITE as noticeable, but since there are literally sides to the hoop, you have to be sure they are lined up perfectly before tightening or else you get a big gap. Like I said, Ive never had issues in the past, so I will probably try again but if you were ordering for something and couldnt risk needing to return them, Id be cautious.

Greater than one weekThese are great except that the screw to loosen and tighten the hoop around the fabric is difficult to manage somehow. Like it does not want to cooperate with me.

> 3 dayFirst of all, the hardware is blue and looks terrible. Also, its almost impossible to get your fabric pulled tight. I only bought these because they were the only ones in stock. Ill never buy them again if I dont have to.

> 3 dayUsed these for 2 inch square cross stitch motifs as Christmas ornaments for teacher gifts when the 4 inch hoops available locally were just a touch too big. They were the perfect size and much sturdier, had heavier wood, and a smoother finish than all the flimsy wood hoops available at big box craft stores near me too. The quality was amazing for the price. Hoops available in store splinter, break and bend easily, but these held up to all my frantic last minute gluing and retying of ribbons without any signs of wear. Will definitely order these again for finishing embroidery projects in the hoop. The only possible negative--since I didnt test it--is the finish is smooth so you might want to scuff it a little if you plan on painting them.

> 3 dayThe main thing I look for in purchasing embroidery hoops is the type of tightening screw/knob used on the hoops. I like the type of knob where I can insert a phillips screwdriver, if needed, to further tighten the hoops together. When I saw these hoops and even zoomed in on the advertised picture I saw these had the type of knobs I like so I made my purchase. I was very, very disappointed upon receiving my order and seeing that the knobs were NOT phillip-type, but only flat-head (see picture), the type I totally dislike. I didnt even open the plastic packaging and immediately returned them and now I am submitting my review. I find it very offensive when companies advertise one thing but deliver sub-par performance, which is what this company did. I know I have to give a star rating because this review will not get published without doing so. If it was possible to give a negative star rating I would, so 1 star (and even that is more than they deserve) is what I am giving them.

> 3 dayOne hoop was chipped to the point where it was fragile enough to break however that was the only one. All the others are good except I worry the screw will come out since they don’t seem very secured but they work perfect

> 3 dayThe bamboo is smooth to touch and uniform in color. The fabric holds tight when stretched into the hoop. I would definitely purchase these again.
