Definitely not as sturdy as they could be. Also not quite round in shape. I had to use pliers to hold the clamps close together while k turned the screw. They work but will not purchase these again.

I’ve ordered from here a handful of times which they have been decent. However, this time all the hoops are awful. There are gaps and they don’t fit correctly so the hoop almost forms an oval top when tightened. So disappointing! I’m not sure if they come from different places because sometimes they have the slots to use a screw driver to tighten and sometimes not.

I finally did something with my brother-in-law’s shirts and they were very sturdy….especially the ones I used the pocket to frame!

This product was ordered and arrived quicker than I had expected. I used it and loved that I had not found any problem while using it, so it met my expectations and I would definitely buy it again.

They look and work amazing ,nothing came broken and they are very easy to use for a beginner

As expected, smooth surfaces. Quality.

They feel a little frail and not the sturdiest, but you get 12 pieces! So I think its worth the price! If you want to make little gifts for friends or even sell embroidery pieces Id recommend these only cause theyre affordable and you get a good amount!

UPDATED: I just reordered these because I did like the first order. Now it’s a different set of hoops: lighter washed wood and NO holes to screw it tight. See picture. I just hate ordering it multiple times but getting different alterations of the product. Overall, these hoops are great and I love how you can use a screw driver to tighten them. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is a couple of the hoops have imperfections on the wood. Not a huge deal but it does draw attention. For sure will be buying again because it’s a great deal.

I originally purchased 6 hoops, thinking that most of my designs would fit well in them but I found a few smaller patterns that ended up looking very silly with all of the negative space around the outside. I felt that 4 were perfect because smaller images would still look fine. They are easy to use and I do not see much splintering that can come on these.

Edited 12/7- I originally posted that my hoops were difficult to use as I think my batch was defective— however I received great customer service to rectify this problem and they were very polite and patient. They obviously care about their product and brand and I appreciate them taking the time to fix this. Thank you! Original review: These are the worst hoops I’ve ever gotten from this brand! Sure they are cheap, but more than half my batch are unusable. They are so warped that when I try to stretch fabric in them I cannot get the two pieces to go back together. The bottom parts are not round at all and create an uneven shape and gaps when the two pieces are together (see photos above). They are splintering everywhere and are difficult to open and close. I’m sorry to give such a bad review but considering the product is in such bad shape I would like others to know :(
