> 3 dayI used these for a Christmas ornament. They were sturdy and held the fabric tightly. A few of the hoops closures were tight and a little difficult to open. But a small nuisance compared to the sturdiness of the hoop and the reasonable price for each. I would recommend.

> 3 dayI cross stitched 3-inch stained-glass ornaments (double-sided) from a magazine I got for Christmas from my sister-in-law who knows how cross stich crazy I am. I ordered these to frame them for hanging on the tree. I used fabric glue to hold the fabric pieces together, then put the outer ring on with some red and white cording, so beautiful. I even used the leftover hoops to hold canvas for smaller ornament patterns, they worked great.

> 3 dayI like these! I wish they came in diversified sizes (larger hoops) but thats on me for not searching further. Im just getting into embroidery and its been a fun time. I made a good Squidward that I have hanging on my wall in the hoop.

Greater than one weekDid not like the extra bolt on the end of the screw. Made it very hard to tighten while holding the fabric in place.

> 3 dayUsed these for 2 inch square cross stitch motifs as Christmas ornaments for teacher gifts when the 4 inch hoops available locally were just a touch too big. They were the perfect size and much sturdier, had heavier wood, and a smoother finish than all the flimsy wood hoops available at big box craft stores near me too. The quality was amazing for the price. Hoops available in store splinter, break and bend easily, but these held up to all my frantic last minute gluing and retying of ribbons without any signs of wear. Will definitely order these again for finishing embroidery projects in the hoop. The only possible negative--since I didnt test it--is the finish is smooth so you might want to scuff it a little if you plan on painting them.

> 3 dayWeve been buying these hoops for years with varying levels of quality. Theyre usually pretty good though, especially in the 6 size. This time was a different story! We could not open or close the screws without a screwdriver. This made teaching a class for eleven 8 and 9-year-olds really challenging! We had to open and close each and every hoop for each kid. There was no possible way to turn the screw without the screwdriver and it was difficult even with the tool. When we purchased the 4 hoops, they were all warped and more oval shaped than circular. What happened to your quality, Caydo??? We will be finding another source for our hoops. We just cant deal with this inconsistency anymore.

07-06-2025I didnt get any unusable ones in the pack. On the last one, the inner hoop was a little out of round, but once the outer hoop was tightened over it, it looked fine and held the fabric. Here and there you can find a small fiber sticking up from the bamboo, which is easily removed. No problems with the screws.

> 3 dayHalf of them are unusable because they are not perfectly round circles, they are ovaled.
