This shave soap was rated one of the best on most shave websites so had to try/buy it for the old man. What is so great? First is the yummy almond smell that makes me want to use it often. Whether shaving your face or legs....great with a double edge razor. And with the size...this one is gonna last a LONG while!

Love the scent! It has a very slick, creamy feel that makes the blades glide over your skin.

If you love Cella Shaving Cream Soap then the best way to save money is by ordering it in relative bulk. Sure there is a bit of work in that youll have to cut out new pieces and mold them into containers when you need them however the difference in cost is tremendous. If however you are the kind of guy who likes to have and try a dozen shave soaps then youll still save money but youll have way more Cella save soap than youll ever need and the value wont be as great. Item came fairly quickly, came as advertised. Love it. I gave it 5 stars for moisturizing even though it will still dry you out a bit. Its a soap and not a moisturizer but under the circumstances it moisturizes pretty well for a soap.

Cella shaving soap is a quality product. Great smell, great texture, lathers up well and stays that way. Would recommend to any man who wants a comfortable shave.

This IS the best shaving soap there is, nothing beats it. Classic tallow-based formula unchanged in >100 years still made by the same factory out of Milan Italy, lathers easily on your face, is buttery smooth beyond belief, washes off easily, and does not leave any perfume behind. You will get a close perfect shave with ANY blade, even an old one.. This is a couple of notches above Pro-Raso ones, which I also have but now cannot go back. Some in Italy say that the formulation in this 1-kilo brick is slightly different (better) than the one in the red tub..Be mindful that you need to keep it sealed in a cool dry place, wrapped in additional saran wrap (comes wrapped in plastic) for good preservation. Tallow-based products will get rancid if exposed to air unprotected for long time periods. Similarly, get yourself a screw-lid container for your day-to-day use. If you buy the super-expensive English tallow-based ones, youre throwing money out the window. This IS the one.

I have tried many creams, soaps, etc. for wet shaving and nothing is as comfortable or soothing. No rash or irritation during or after.

I like it a lot, just wish I had known better little tips on how to use it when I bought my first box. I wasted a lot of it before I finally figured out how to use it correctly. Tips on its proper use in the (or on) the box would be great for first timers.

I have bunches of shaving creams and soaps. I have this brick of Cella and I can say it was a great purchase. Its slick, it lathers well, and has a nice marzipan/almond scent. One brush load gives 2-3 passes easily and probably more though I never get that far with my face. Best way to use this in my opinion is to cut a chuck off, re-seal the plastic, and put your chuck in a Tupperware container or something else with a lid. Great soap for sure!
