> 3 dayThe item was exactly what I was expecting, Zero Suit Samus Amiibo (Japanese version). There are slight differences in the coloration between the NA & JPN versions, nothing too dramatic, and barely noticeable, but the JPN Amiibo also feel like theyre made differently, slightly better build. In the end, theyre Amiibo, and all are region-free, so you can use your JPN Amiibo in NA nintendo systems. My only *concern* is the way amazon ships these. Im not a collector, I opened up my Amiibo packaging so I can display the actual Amiibo. But amazon bent the top part of the cardboard, where the peg hook hole is located, to make the item fit in the box. If I was a collector, I would be upset. This is in no way a reflection on the seller, just the way Amazon shipped my package. Do they do this every time? I dont know, but it was my experience. Sorry I couldnt upload pictures, but the Amazon app kept crashing whenever I tried to do so.

> 3 dayThe item is most definitely a Ness amiibo, but its not new as they claim to be. With close observation to the packaging, I can see that it was resealed just like the other reviewer said. The edge where the plastic meets the box is little bit crinklier than my other amiibos that I bought in stores. The amiibo itself seems alright, but its still disappointing that they advertise it as new when its not. I also collect amiibos for the sake of collecting them and not to use them so in this aspect its not really satisfying. If you plan on opening/using the amiibo though, its perfectly fine.

> 3 dayI bought this figure online because I figure it will be impossible to get when it releases in the U.S. Even though it would retail at $12.99, I thought around $30 isnt THAT unreasonable for an imported product, and I know these will skyrocket in price once the U.S shipments are gone. The figure itself is very nice, better than I thought it would be actually. Zero Suit Samus is one of my favorite characters so I had to have this amiibo even if it did come at a higher price than usual. If you dont mind paying more for this figure, then I would suggest doing it as soon as possible, because especially with fan favorite characters, the price only goes up from here.

> 3 dayI was afraid that it wouldnt work w/ Switch and Smash Ultimate, but it works perfectly! Just remember to save your amiibos progress before exiting the game... Dont make the same mistake I did!

Greater than one weekI recently reviewed the Shulk Amiibo from the Series 2 release. Much of what follows relates to both Amiibo’s in general, though I’ll specify below when I speak of Marth exclusively (or at least make the comparative notes obviously stated). Simply to share, as my bias surely affects my best intentions of a helpful review, I avoided purchasing any Amiibo figures until very shortly after the most present release of Series 4. That shared, due to a New 3DS mishap at a big box retailer, I was given store credit and with it, brought home my first 4 Amiibo (Series 1 Link and Zelda; Series 2 Toon Link and Sheik). After having these 4 Amiibo to experiment with, it was only after I truly made my first two Amiibo purchases (dare I say, invested), Series 2 Shulk and this figure, Series 1 Marth. I could not find the U.S. release of Marth at a price that competed with the Japanese release. After reading another review elsewhere, and realizing it doesn’t matter whether one has the U.S. or Japanese Amiibo release in terms of being able to port into Wii U and New 3DS XL games, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase Marth. My purchase of this Amiibo was wholly due to the excitement I have had in experiencing the gameplay of Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for the New 3DS. I played the demo and while it was just so-so, still I remained quite expectant of what could be a great game experience due to the reviews I read by those fortunate enough to have more access beforehand. I have not been let down, neither by the game, nor with this particular Amiibo figure. As this is a review of Marth, the Amiibo figure, let me focus there on a number of points I hope will help you, the potential buyer of this out-of-print and increasingly hard to find figurine: As other reviewers before me have stated, comparatively this is a very well sculpted Amiibo figurine, though I must state this Amiibo is not quite at the level of Shulk, the most nicely sculpted Amiibo figure I have yet to own. Overall, Marth’s Amiibo presence is very much that of his game presence in Fire Emblem: a bit hesitant at first, but then comes into his own. Marth’s clothing and wardrobe in general is detailed and nicely painted (between the lines!), and his hair looks (just about) as good as it does in the game (LOL), but in some of the finer details of the figurine, there is a bit of a lack of detail…just enough to not quite be at the quality of Shulk (the high-water mark of Amiibo figures that I’ve seen thus far, admittedly, only about 6 or so). In terms of the actual sculpted figure, as with the other sword-wielding Amiibo I have, Marth’s Falchion divine sword is not perfectly straight, but bows slightly downward. Why is this? I do not know. Perhaps it has something to do with the heating and cooling process of manufacturing? Regardless, the materials (plastics) this Amiibo is cast in allows for the sword to be slightly misshaped. While this doesn’t bother me or affect my enjoyment of the figure, I can see more scrutinizing collectors of toys and figures to be irked by this oversight in the perfecting of manufacturing. Some Amiibo have colored or clear plastic supports extending from the base to the figure itself. Thankfully, Marth stands on his own two feet, so to speak (the base, however, like other Amiibo, has a strikingly similar “X” pattern as seen in contemporary X-Men comics, films, and the like). Rough dimensions for this Marth figure, from base to top of his head, is nearly 4-inches; from widest point to widest point (downward pointed sword tip to extended cape at the opposite side) is 3.5-inches. Regarding gameplay, the Japanese import has ported just as any other Amiibo has on my New 3DS. I would expect the same from others, especially with so many reports consistently claiming this is in fact the case. If it is not clear by now, I’m a collector of things, especially that which relates to Nintendo. Most of us seemingly having missed out on the U.S. release, is it worth it to purchase this Marth Amiibo for 2x-6x the MSRP? I cannot answer that for you, obviously, but having ported Marth into Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., if you decide to make the purchase, I hope your experience is as much fun as mine has been! Happy gaming and happy collecting!

> 3 dayI bought this amiibo for my husband to use with our original Switch. He uses it in Super Smash Bros primarily. It works perfectly and he keeps it on his desk as an adorable decoration when not playing.

> 3 dayThe product quality is good. The packaging game in good shape (it is in Japanese for any collectors that may have an issue with that). The plastic is well-molded and doesnt look cheap. However, with the more detailed/complex amiibo I have seen lesser quality. The other major plus to this product was that I was able to receive it for a reasonable (non-scalper) price. Be patient and wait for it to get into a reasonable price. Dont support scalpers by paying $20+ for a product that retails for $12. If you do, youre the reason why these things sell out the second any come out.

> 3 dayI got my Rosalina amiibo today! Shes one of the rarest so far due to being exclusive to Target and MarioTehPlumber. The guy hates (loves) Rosalina so much, he bought 100 of these so no one else can have one. Thankfully, hes only doing it for the North American versions. The cosmic princess is pretty pricey, but thats mainly to pay off import fees, shipping, and customs. It is being brought over the Pacific Ocean to get here. Now one to the figure itself. Rosalina looks great. The more cartoony characters always seem to look better as amiibo and Rosalina is no exception. Shes also got quite some detail on her. She has a nice star pattern at the bottom of her dress. Her crown has some design on it that the Smash Bros Peach lacks. She also has purple nail polish on if you look closely. Luma looks perfect as well. The is some plastic to hold Rosalina and Luma up. Youll automatically see it on Luma. You might not even notice it on Rosalina since her dress hides it well. Rosalina has become a rare gem for amiibo hunters. Aside from Smash, she can also be used for Mario Kart 8 for a Rosalina themed racing suit and in Mario Party 10 to unlock the Rosalina board in Amiibo Party mode. If you want here for the previously mentioned reasons or just a fan of her, go ahead and buy one here (I doubt well get a restock any time soon and I dont think MarioTehPlumber wants to share.)

> 3 dayLove this neat little figure! The thing itself is in great detail and well made, nets some cool stuff in botw and other titles. The seller takes great care of the product, arrived wrapped carefully in bubble wrap and air bags and tape with the label on the outside of the wrap so no chance of tape residue. I have ordered a lot recently and half of them come screwed up, or were abused before sending labeling new Thank you for the care you showed. I would recommend it and this seller.

> 3 dayRecently I had ordered the whole Kid Icarus amiibos. I had then read about the reviews on how their amiibos came out bad, figure and box, but by the time I read those reviews, I got scared and I couldnt cancel my order. Luckily, I found that my worrying was all for naught. My amiibos came in nicely, the box only bended but Im not a collector. They were absolutely gorgeous when I opened them all, with the exception of minor paint failure. The price for these however were a bit high, but Im too lazy to actually hunt, so I ordered and I do not regret it. The only thing making me stop from giving it another star was the minor paint flaws and the bended package. Couldnt they be a little more gentle? I now have to go train up my Palutena, Dark Pit, and Pit!
