21-11-2024I got Rosetta/Roselina for a friends birthday. Shes a huge fan of Roselina, and shes been searching for this one for ages. I understand the whole controversy with Amiibo scalpers and re-sellers, but my review is only for the item sold. And I couldnt be happier with this. Especially when searching for the English release of Roselina, I could be expected to pay at least twice the amount I paid for her here... (as you might know, these are not region-locked so while they come from Japan, theyre just as compatible with the English games, should you desire, the only difference is the writing on the box is in Japanese). The box is in great condition, especially for an import item, and I cant really see any scuffs on it as well. While Im not taking her out of the box, as this is a gift, I cant notice anything wrong with the figure itself. No bending in her wand (which honestly I was a little worried about seeing some other reviewed on figures with delicate-looking pieces like wands/swords). Shes in great shape. The details on the figurine are really nice. I like the extra touches, like the metallic surfaces on her wand/crown are actually in metallic paint that has some shine to it, rather than just yellow/grey to represent gold/silver. Little touches like that make this look like a much higher quality model. Im really impressed with the details on her face, namely her showing eye (since the other is covered by her bangs). Theres even a little gradient in the blues on her pupil, which is really impressive for a figure thats only a few inches high! The only real nitpick I can find is that I wish they showed that same attention to detail on her fingernails (painted purple). Its a little inconsistent in the size of the dots, some are larger than others. But I cant complain too much on that, its just a small detail I noticed. Im also super pleased with how fast the shipping was on this! Thanks a lot for an easy transaction. And thanks for helping me find the perfect gift for a friend!

> 3 dayI like how the figure was made. Im going to train Palutena in my game and make her a strong figure fighter (seeing as someone at a tournament did a deadly combo on me I assume she might give me some trouble as her levels increase).

Greater than one weekLet me tell you, finding this Pit amiibo for under $60 has been an absolute nightmare! My niece has wanted Pit since before Christmas but they were ungodly expensive everywhere we looked. But at long last I was finally able to order her one for a reasonable price! Why they all of a sudden dropped in price I do not know, but Im not going to question it! My package came in the mail very quickly after I placed my order and the box arrived undamaged. While it was a Japanese version I received, my niece actually prefers it that way so it works for me! I cant wait until I can actually give her this Pit amiibo. Im also happy that my months of Internet searching are finally over!

> 3 dayI was afraid that it wouldnt work w/ Switch and Smash Ultimate, but it works perfectly! Just remember to save your amiibos progress before exiting the game... Dont make the same mistake I did!

> 3 dayGreat looking amiibo. It came in the mail well before I expected it to. Not really the way to go if youre a collector since the box is kinda beat up. However, its a cool plus just because its from Japan and thats always cool. Customer service was also really great with a good deal and a nice note in it as well. Detail is amazing on the figure. Arrived without any defects or anything. Got it for my friend for his birthday and Im sure he will love it.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a collectors item, not for functional purposes. Its a very cute little piece and the paint is neat. It came in a lot faster than I expected (estimated: 2-3 weeks, received within 5 days) and the processing sticker that are sometimes on Amazon products came off very neatly with one pull; no residue or tearing. Yes, the packaging is in Japanese if anyone is concerned about that. I know some people are concerned with the pricing. Shes limited edition, selling at a higher price because of that is normal. Normally, LEs go waaay up once theyre no longer manufactured. So, you could either pay $35 now or wait in the hopes that more are made and you can find one cheaper. But you run the risk of that -not- happening and having to shell out $50+ UPDATE: As predicted, the price for this Amiibo went up to $50 less than 2 months after my review, and remained that price for 2-3 months. Nintendo later announced they would continue manufacturing Amiibos, which means there are enough for everyone. The price has dropped down to $25 because of this.

> 3 dayA bit pricy but it’s small in comparison to the happiness I get when I see him. Also very study but light.

> 3 dayThe item is most definitely a Ness amiibo, but its not new as they claim to be. With close observation to the packaging, I can see that it was resealed just like the other reviewer said. The edge where the plastic meets the box is little bit crinklier than my other amiibos that I bought in stores. The amiibo itself seems alright, but its still disappointing that they advertise it as new when its not. I also collect amiibos for the sake of collecting them and not to use them so in this aspect its not really satisfying. If you plan on opening/using the amiibo though, its perfectly fine.

> 3 dayThe images on the internet do not do this wonderfully made Palutena Amiibo justice. I was pleasantly surprised by the detail of the clothing and weaponry. I would of preferred that it had Palutenas white wings be out like Pits, but the blue wings arent that bad, and do well to symbolize Palutenas holiness. It is quite tall, even surpassing Rosalina. The parts seem very delicate, unlike other more durable Amiibos such as Rosalina and Little Mac. A gentle bump makes the delicate parts (especially the arms) move pretty easily. The craftsmanship (though the detail is #1 in my book) best compares to Zeldas. Handle with care. My main complaint is that the right thigh bulges outwards at the middle point of that leg. I dont know if that is a defect or what, but I can see the center (most likely an assembly division) line of the leg in that area. I still like this Palutena Amiibo though. My only regret is that I had to pay twice its actual value. This is probably going to be the last Amiibo that I purchase. I love Amiibos, because they bring out my inner childhood memories of my favorite characters from Nintendo, but they are just too darn hard to obtain. TL DR: All Palutena fans- I dont think you would be sorry if you bought this Amiibo, even if you just sat it on your desk or dresser. ;D
