Love this movie

Love the cast of characters, very cute, crazy, fun. Always on the go, no down time. Steve Martin is great in this role. One of the best family movies of its time.

I know a lot of people think this type of movie has no substance but why must everything we watch have meaning? I love Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt together and this is a great pick me up movie for those times you just want to laugh w/out having to analyze the plot!

I recommend if you have slightly older kids (not toddlers or very young). There is some content that isnt ideal, but all in all, its a good and fun family movie with some good themes and values represented.

I was the youngest of nine kids, so Im a sucker for books/movies about big families. I first watched this when I was 12 (when it came out), and can still sit down and watch it now as an adult. Its a great family movie, with a good moral. Theres some silly oh come on, that wouldnt happen shenanigans (like there are in most family movies). However, the heart of it, and the relationships between the family are believable and enjoyable.

Now days, for families it is hard to find clean, funny entertainment that also has a good moral. We have enjoyed watching The Cheaper By The Dozen series for our family movie nights. Wish I could find more like this. This is the best of Steve Martin - good - clean and funny!

Good Family Fun. My 9 years olds twins really enjoyed it, and I love all of the Steve Martin movies!

great film all around! should receive it tomorrow. my only compliant: if you purchase the movie, any movie here on amazon, you should be able to watch it, the whole thing, on Amazon Instant Video. im not able too. (im not sure about other customers) but yeah, amazon, thatd be nice, to hold customers over if they want to see the movie they purchased that particular day instead of waiting another week to receive it in the mail. thanks. all in all, a fantastic movie, laugh out loud. another classic from when i was a child to add to my collection.
