This product has a cable line. It is great for projects that are heavy, but not line not flexible enough for magic loop. Excellent needles to use for scarves using bulky yarn or 2 color brioche.

I needed a circular set at 16 inches and got this brand, as I had not tried them before. Its a good needle. My only dislike would be that the needle doesnt curve down near the cord, straining that joint a bit. Other than that, very nice needle.

Love these cables with pointy metal tips

This is my first sock knitting experience and these are the only needles I will use. I just ordered a second pair.

These needles are the best that I have used. The stainless steel tips are very sharp and pointy - excellent for doing lace work. The cord stays straight and the stitches move smoothly over it and on to the needle since there is no bend at the connection. The 16 size is perfect for doing collars and socks. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love the ChiaoGoo Red Lace knitting needles. The best part is that the cord doesn’t kink or get curled up so you can just enjoy knitting without have to wrestle with the cable on the needles. I love the pointed ends of the needles even when I am using thick yarns. The join between the needle and the cable is smooth. Ohh...so much to love .. just buy ChiaoGoo and you will be a happy knitter like me.

Chiao Goo red lace circulars have been my favorite knitting needles for a long time. The cable is narrow, smooth, strong, and flexible, and the points are sharp enough to do decreases easily.

Overall I like the needles. The cords on ChiaoGoo needles are very flexible and easy to work with. I do not like the tips of these needles. Very sharp points. I do recognize these are lace needles and lace knitting requires a pointed tip. My feeling is these are too sharp and pointed. I am a continental knitter and the tips scrape my finger as I pull the yarn through. I also feel as if one of the needles is rougher than the other needle creating a bit of a drag (defective?).

Chiao Goo needles are the Best circular needles out there, as far as Im concerned. It has a lot to do with the cord and its flexibility and durability. I use them for Magic Loop knitting in the round and have never creased the cord. Other plastic cords crease, and sometimes break. Good slip to the needle, maybe not as slippery as others, but I can get a pretty swift speed going on them.
