One of the twins discovered the light switch in her room. This was the perfect fix to keep her from playing with it all night.

Installed over light switch to turn on gas fireplace. Switch placed at perfect height for my toddler to turn on the fireplace whenever she wanted. Now she cant. I like the three points of latch that an adult hand is capable of unlatching but not a toddler. I also like that it is clean to the wall. Most baby/toddler proofing items are bulky and dont look great depending on the location. This cover is noticeable but not an eye sore. Great product and installs in no time using the screws from the wall plate you are replacing.

My 3 year old cracked this in a day. I think it would stop a 2 year old.

We recently installed a remote operated ceiling fan. We were told that if we turn the light on and off with the light switch, we could damage the connection to the remote, so only use the remote. I purchased this cover so I could cover the switch so I wouldnt accidentally turn it off and then I attached the remote holder to the outside so it is located where I was already used to the light switch being. May not have been the intended use for this product but it was perfect for what I needed.

I have a couple of dangerous switches in my house and of course they are in places that are easy to accidentally hit by kids (I have 5 running around) these have helped so much and the kids cant get them open (ages 4 - 11)

Got this for our fireplace switch. Its perfect and as simple as changing a faceplate to install.

Easy to install! My kids can climb up on my kitchen counters. I recently installed a new garbage disposal and had nightmare visions of them climbing up and flipping the switch. This cover is too difficult for them to open. My 5 year old could probably eventually figure it out, but it would take so long Id find him before he got it open.

Our 2 year old spent a solid three months of using his light switch as a means to party all night long. He would turn the lights on and off almost compulsively for entertainment all hours of the night. The newfound game was playing was cutting into everyone’s sleep and turning our toddler into a grump! We tried several other switch covers but he was too tall and too good at problem solving for others to be successful. This light switch has been a lifesaver!!! My toddler is no longer light switch obsessed. My only recommendation is that if you have an overly motivated, puzzle solving toddler, then DO NOT EVER OPEN THE LIGHT SWITCH COVER IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILD. This makes it harder for them to learn how to uncover the switch in addition to needing the hand dexterity to do so. Overall, I love this product!

Although our toddler already figured out how to open it. It does a job.

Everything about this product is awesome, except the fact that my toddler opened it in a matter of 10 seconds... she is pretty smart, but that is just silly.
