> 24 hourMy cat loved to open the doors to my wardrobe, climb in, and sleep on my clothes. Sometimes, the clothes on top weren’t suitable for sleeping, so he would throw some of them out of the closet to find softer material suitable for a snooze. I love him dearly, but I was sick of having clean clothes already christened with cat hair, or neatly folded clothes thrown on the floor. Although I have no children, here I was, buying child safety locks. Thankfully, due to his lack of opposable thumbs, my cat can’t get into the wardrobe anymore! He still tries occasionally, and he’ll lay outside the doors and pout. The device is simple enough that I don’t mind unlocking/relocking as I get an outfit together or get ready for work. Thanks for solving my problem! In case anyone is worried, my cat happily naps other places, including the couch, the bed, the dining room chairs, his cat tower...

> 24 hourIm very satisfied with these put them on my cabinets to prevent my 3yr old from opening and closing the doors. But 3yr old is too smart. He knows how to get it off but doesnt know how to put it back on...lol So if you have a clever 3yr old like mine. I suggest you find an alternative locking method. Its easy to to slide on and off. It is age appropriate for babies not for clever lil toddlers.

> 24 hourUseful on some cabinets but not as many as I expected. Very easy to install yet fortunately looks a little intimidating so the toddlers havent tried to force them open - so far anyway!

> 24 hourOverall this is a great child safety lock for your cabinet, and I recommend parents looking to child proof their home to consider getting this product. This safety lock is simple and easy to use, and no glue/tape/nailing is required, which is what I was looking for. But in order for this lock to be effective you NEED to make sure 100% the sliding mechanism is tight and pushed all the way in. My cabinet handle is knob design (see picture), and depending on the size of knob, you can easily manipulate the safety lock in a way that can be slid off. So if youre like me and have a knob design on the cabinets, make sure to measure the size and compare it to the diameter of the safety locks before purchasing.

> 24 hourGreat concept but way too short- I could only find one cabinet they worked on. Was disappointed because I like the idea of them- easy to use and no way my son would get that but just couldn’t make them work

> 24 hourI wish this only required one hand, but is what it is. My one true complaint is that the plastic is a bit flimsy. I’m not sure it will hold up for when my little one is older. If he does become determined it might be possible for him to snap it.

> 24 hourWe had purchased more expensive locks that had internal parts. The internal parts broke when my child started banging it on the floor and the expensive product then became worthless. This is a cheap product because it is so basic but its as effective and wont break easily (no internal parts). I wish we just purchased this product in the first place.

> 24 hourI don’t have kids but I have the weirdest cat on the planet. He loves to open and slam the bathroom cabinet in the morning to wake me up, because he needs to eat right away or he’ll die of starvation... so if you have a tiny human crawling around or an annoying cat you don’t want to eat you, these are perfect for the job!
