> 3 dayPro: This product is tougher and stronger than other similar products on the market. Con: It takes me both hands to open and close the lock. This is a minor trade-off for the benefit of how tough it is.

> 3 dayWe had purchased more expensive locks that had internal parts. The internal parts broke when my child started banging it on the floor and the expensive product then became worthless. This is a cheap product because it is so basic but its as effective and wont break easily (no internal parts). I wish we just purchased this product in the first place.

> 3 daySuper easy to use. Keeps our toddler out of our kitchen and bathroom sinks - mission accomplished. When we need to actually get in those areas its a little inconvenient to take locks off but preferred over other locks that were harder to install, less reliable.

> 3 dayIt serves it purpose. The clips that we grab to get it out of the locked position are very hard to grip and and really small, so it’s hard to remove them even for adults.

Greater than one weekI have cats that like to get into my cabinets so Ive been securing them with rubber bands and bungee cords. Now I have cabinet locks that are much easier to use plus they look better.

> 3 dayWorks great to keep really young kids out. I bought for the art supply cupboard, my 7 and 10 year old can get in (I showed them how) without issues but the 4 and 2 year olds can’t. If you accidentally put the lock piece on backwards it is VERY hard to get back off again. Took me a good 10 mins to get it open after the locking piece was pushed on backwards. Works great other then that

> 3 dayUsed it to lock cabinets and closet doors. Worked very well. Not giving it a 5 star because when you open the guard you are left with the lock in your hand, which you have to find later when you want to relock the door/cabinet. It’s fine if you open the door just to take something out, but if you open the toy closet doors so the kids could play for an hour, you might not remember where you put the lock for the guard. A different version that I used to have, had the lock hang from the guard. You couldn’t disconnect it completely, thus you never had the problem of having to find the second part of the guard to lock it..

> 3 dayAge appropriateWhere is your purchase not too expensive easy to install and yes my twin toddlers aren’t able to break into our cabinets I absolutely love it it’s worth buying some of the other items are not easy to install however if you don’t have small knobs the product will not fit and secure a safety latch you have to buy it based on the object that you’re trying to secure It does not fit on all appliances

> 3 dayI bought these child safety locks for my French door so my granddaughters would you go in my make up room and get into my make up. They are very easy to put on and takeoff. I am really happy with these child safety French door locks. I would highly recommend anyone to buy these if you have a French doors that you do not want children or pets to go into. I give this product five stars.
