Greater than one weekThis item is/was an item that couldve been great for us but it fell short an inch or two. Granted I measured my cabinet handle distance and because both were approximately 5 inches it was perfect to buy. On one of the images you can see that the locking mechanism is in the back part instead of within the the two tubes that slide on to the device. Because of that it fell short on being able to lock the cabinets I needed it for (Baby proofing lower cabinets). I rated this 5 stars not because it failed for what I needed it for, but because I can recommend this item to others as long as it fits their need. Hope the pictures and review helps others.

> 3 dayAfter 6 years, my original baby safe cabinet block broke. I couldn’t find the exact one to replace it with. The price was right on this pack, so I went for it. They came quickly and work well. Super easy to figure out and install. My only feedback, it would be better if the slider was attached and could swing down so that you could open and re-lock with just one hand. As it is, I have to use 2 hands to put the lock back. And sometimes, while cooking or holding a baby, it’s hard to have 2 hands free. But it will do the job of keeping the cabinet closed

> 3 dayTo be fair, we didnt buy these for baby proofing purposes--we needed something to hold our cabinet doors closed in the event of an earthquake and didnt want anything that would require installation (meaning the use of tools). So, these locks do the job and theyre simple to operate. They just arent particularly attractive because theyre big and bulky.

20-11-2024I bought these child safety locks for my French door so my granddaughters would you go in my make up room and get into my make up. They are very easy to put on and takeoff. I am really happy with these child safety French door locks. I would highly recommend anyone to buy these if you have a French doors that you do not want children or pets to go into. I give this product five stars.

> 3 dayThese tot locks are easy to use and not easy for young children to remove. I put them on to deter my grandson who is 2yrs old and they worked just as described. I would definitely recommend these

> 3 dayUseful on some cabinets but not as many as I expected. Very easy to install yet fortunately looks a little intimidating so the toddlers havent tried to force them open - so far anyway!

> 3 dayThis is effective at keeping out my 3 and 4-year-old. They were able to get into some of the other basic locking mechanisms, but not able to open these yet. You can slide them in the wrong way. If so, it can be a pain to get them undone. That is the only reason they are not a 5.

Greater than one weekThese slide together and lock in place. Easy to open for adults and right now impossible for our 18 month old grandson. They are perfect for what we needed.

22-11-2024They serve the purpose but seem to break a bit too easily. Some in our pack were easier to slide open than others. Would order again since my favorite ones were at Babies R Us and they are gone. :-(

> 3 dayOverall this is a great child safety lock for your cabinet, and I recommend parents looking to child proof their home to consider getting this product. This safety lock is simple and easy to use, and no glue/tape/nailing is required, which is what I was looking for. But in order for this lock to be effective you NEED to make sure 100% the sliding mechanism is tight and pushed all the way in. My cabinet handle is knob design (see picture), and depending on the size of knob, you can easily manipulate the safety lock in a way that can be slid off. So if youre like me and have a knob design on the cabinets, make sure to measure the size and compare it to the diameter of the safety locks before purchasing.
