We actually have cats that like getting into drawers and closets. We use these to deter them just enough so they lose interest. They’ve stopped trying to get in these places but we will keep them on, just incase.

new review: It turns out the stickiness is good enough to put them on the ridges of the doors, and they work great! Our little one is no longer able to get into the areas with cleaning supplies and other hazards. old review: Works great, but these aren’t long enough to work as locks for locking all our double door barn style cabinets. I couldn’t find any products that were long enough though.

I like these to keep the kids out of the cabinets, but in the event they pull on them, they come off and leave the sticky foam behind, which is hard to get off the cabinets. They’re easy to put on and open, which I do like. I would buy again and replace as needed, if needed.

The only thing bad I can say about this product is the adhesion is not very good. It is easy to use and is very good for what I needed to keep my 1 year old grandson out of cabinets and drawers he doesnt need to be in. Because of the adhesion problem I would not give it 5 stars but it is a definite 4. I would recommend it but you might need a different adhesion product to booster it.

I got these for my cabinets at home because my cat gets into everything and while I am gone on vacation, now I know she is not getting into the cabinets with the cleaners and toxic items. They secure super well and are very easy to install.

I havent use them in so many places or materials yet, but the one I used in bathroom has a really strong grip and even when the toilet seat, where I installed it, has an uneven surface and it only touches with small edges on the glue sides, its strong enough and sufficient enough and feels sturdy. Very satisfied with the outcome so far. The kids havent been able to pull it loose and it doesnt feel like it would come off easily. (The kids are 1y4m and have for example pulled off all the table corner protectors). I can give more info once I have installed it on more locations and see how these locks do on other surfaces and over time, but right now Im very satisfied with the product. It is a little slippery to open, as the plastic lever you have to slide is quite tiny, but nothing impossible and also you dont want it to be too easy as the kids will otherwise quickly learn to do so as well.

These child safety straps really work! But beware, if not used properly it, the adhesive can break your nail. I also had a problem aligning the straps because once it stays on something, it stays and cant be undone. So technically I wasted about 2 out of 10. Additionally, the back adhesive strip DOES COME OUT and sometimes doesnt stay on as long as it should. Oh well, it worked on some parts of the areas I wanted to cover.

So helpful with little ones flying around. Had to ditch my other ones because my kids will rip them off but these are holding up nice

Our now 18 month old gets into everything as soon as we installed these on our cabinets and dresser drawers he can’t get in them anymore and they stick on so well there’s no way they’ll come off
