> 3 dayThese are the only locks that I have purchased so I have nothing to compare them to. However as far as locks go and what I was expecting, they work well. They are easy to setup and install and once attached work as they are supposed. The release mechanism is also simple to use. The only issue is that one the adjustment side of the lock is clipped in, it seems that there is no way to change this adjustment without breaking the clip or at least I haven’t been able to release the clip without using a screwdriver and alot of force which then broke the clip. So be certain about the length that you want from the strap. There is also nothing in the manual to help with this. And then there are the 4 little round things that I have no idea what they are for and again nothing in the manual. All and all they do what they are supposed to.

Greater than one weekThis product is very easy to install, just need to find the place you want to put it and peel off the stickers on the adhesive and stick it to the surface. You can cut the plastic strip if you have a short space you are using the product. These are very easy to use and I feel safe that my toddler wont be able to get into any cabinet or space they are not supposed to.

> 3 daySome of the other reviews were off-putting so we were on notice, but the strap locks we got were ideal. They open quickly to an adult touch, but our toddler was not able to figure them out, probably because his little finger couldnt work the spring-loaded latch. Folks who couldnt get the locks to work didnt get the install right - you have to get it fit right the first time, and then you are stuck with it. Reopening the non-latch side of the lock breaks it permanently, as seen in one video from a reviewer on here who complained that it doesnt hold. Well of course it doesnt, you busted it open. Others were maybe shipped a cheap knockoff instead of the real thing. We got the genuine 3M piece, and I can tell you that for sure because the adhesive is really, really strong. It says it wont mar surfaces but I have some doubt about that. We did not attempt to remove them when we left our rental house recently, because it seemed almost certain that it would take paint along with it.

> 3 dayThe only thing bad I can say about this product is the adhesion is not very good. It is easy to use and is very good for what I needed to keep my 1 year old grandson out of cabinets and drawers he doesnt need to be in. Because of the adhesion problem I would not give it 5 stars but it is a definite 4. I would recommend it but you might need a different adhesion product to booster it.

> 3 dayI got these for my cabinets at home because my cat gets into everything and while I am gone on vacation, now I know she is not getting into the cabinets with the cleaners and toxic items. They secure super well and are very easy to install.

> 3 dayMy 2 year figured out how to open these with a month. Defeats the purpose of having them. Had to order heavy duty key unlock ones. My one child is autistic and my youngest is too smart when it comes to figuring things out, so its for thier protection. Ie I have them on dresser draws so they do not climb, chemical closet, garage door,

Greater than one weekI thought it would be hard to pull off but my toddler pulls them off very easily. I tried replacing it thinking maybe there was a bad sticky pad or something but same thing happened
