I question the durability/quality. Game is a classic & kids enjoy it.

I miss the old style game I played when I was a kid, but this one still gets the job done. I use it as an educational tool (Im a school counselor) and it helps kids understand that their actions have consequences that can be good or bad.

All time favorite. I keep it so that I always have a game in our home that younger children can play and enjoy! Its a classic!

Great game for preschool kids. Our 12 yo still likes to play with us, too. A true classic.

I bought this toy for my granddaughter. She really enjoys it. I had the same game as a child and had hours of fun with it. I think it is a good game for little ones to learn to take turns, learn consequences and be a good sport.

This is a classic game which most adults will remember. It teaches children counting and is fun. It also reinforces how random luck works. At the start my grandson (who hates to lose) got upset, but gradually, he learned to accept and enjoy. Of course he still likes to win!

My girls love this game, even my youngest daughter. They love going up the ladders, but sliding down the chutes (slides) even more! This is a classic game for good reason.

Be the first to move your child-shaped playing piece from square one to square 100 on the Chutes and Ladders game board--but watch out! If you land on the square that shows you ate too much candy--Ouch!--you get a tummy ache and slide down a chute to a square a few numbers below. But if you end your turn on a good-deed square, such as helping sweep up a mess, you"ll be rewarded by a ladder-climb up the board.

A fantastic follow-up to Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders is ideal for younger children who are still learning to take turns and just beginning to recognize numbers (the spinner stays in the single digits). It"s also a gentle introduction to the higher numbers as players climb to 100 at the top of the board. And, thanks to all those chutes and ladders, it"s got enough excitement to keep your 7-year-old on the edge of her seat. English and Spanish instructions are included; no reading is necessary to play. Chutes and Ladders is for two to four players. --Julie Ubben
