Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

I love this bag! the only con I see is if you wear the bag on your left side....because the strap lock is behind you rather than in front of you, which is a little pain in the butt to have to adjust without taking it off. Besides that I love all of the pockets!

Lots of pockets for storage; used by an 8th grader to carry school books, etc; easy on and off and easy access to items

This is my every day bag its durable with enough space to Carry my daily items. Timbuk2s customer service is awesome if you need anything replaced just email a picture with your info and within days I had replacement parts.

I love Timbuk2 messenger bags. I have a few in different colors and styles, and some other bags by Timbuk2, but the Classic Messenger is what I keep coming back to. Be aware that this is a true messenger bag, so it is not meant to have a lot of organization inside. Messenger bags are intended for large capacity in one bag, so there are a few handy pockets inside but it is mostly one big compartment. There is a divider inside to fit a laptop, but the inner compartment is mostly open. As it should be. If you need more organization you should probably consider a backpack or smaller bag. Or just use zipper pouches like I do for small items. Even the small size of the Classic Messenger can hold a lot, it can fit a small/med size laptop or chromebook and the medium is even bigger, it will fit up to a 15 laptop I think. The Large is massive even for me (lol) and fits a 17 laptop I believe, I have a Large but dont usually need to use it. When I do use the L is mostly as a carry-on when flying. I have used the Small as a work purse (I carry a lot of crap, I like BIG bags, and I work 12 hour shifts) and the Med for longer trips/carrying a bit more stuff. For most people a Small would probably be way more than enough to use as a daily purse since I always carry lots of crap with me. The only size I dont have the smallest size (XS) but I am thinking about getting one as a mini bag when I only need to bring the absolute basics- wallet, phone, keys, lip balm, charger cable, sunglasses case- for quick trips to the store or when I go on walks. Im sure all that could fit comfortably even in the XS size with a bit of room to spare. The compression straps are great to cinch down smaller loads and the shoulder strap is very comfortable to wear across the body even when the bag is full. Just remember the XS size is the only one that doesnt have the compression straps or the side entry pocket (on the XS the pocket is top entry). The cam buckle is great to easily adjust the shoulder strap length while wearing the bag. It is very comfy to wear across the back or even in front across the chest. I am a woman with a lot of cleavage so I dont usually wear it in front, but when I do I adjust the strap so it sits a bit lower in the front and I can wear it comfortably that way. But if the bag is significantly full I prefer to wear it across my back.

Holds all of my exercise gear and is comfortable to wear! Awesome bag.

For the price its a great durable bag the stark could be a little more comfortable but overall its a great bag.

Who doesn’t love a well made bag with loads of features. The key holder in the front pocket is great. The size is perfect for my diabetic supplies. Fits up to a 16oz. Gatorade bottle perfectly for lows. The interior is easy to wipe as is the exterior. It looks professional without looking expensive. Blue and black is perfect for everyday attire and think to buy an all black on for nicer occasions. Great bag.

The problem with this bag is that the shoulder strap is much too short. Even at its fullest length is hovers around my rib cage (Im 6 feet tall). Pass on this time unless youre several inches shorter than me. Back to Amazon for a refund it goes.

Christmas gift for my son, just what he wanted...

Good all around bag. My only complaints is that there is not that many storage pockets. The way the bag is constructed, the pocket compartment is one volume space so even with multiple pockets there is a limit to how much you can store in the pockets. Bag is very comfortable to carry and seems very durable and sturdy. I wish the carry strap was mounted on top of the bag instead of on the top back of the bag.
