Bag is huge for large. Like the durability as well as style.

Im usually a big fan of these bags but it wasnt as roomy as I had hoped, so unfortunately it wont work for what I had in mind. Additionally, I didnt realize this until past the 30 days and I couldnt find any way to return it! BEWARE, the 30 day rule is no joke even during COVID.

I really like the size of the bag but I feel that the description for the bag was a bit misleading. By looking at the product description I thought that the size I purchased (small) had a water bottle holder on the outside of the bag because it was listed as so. This particular size only has bottle holders inside the bag. The only issue here is that my glass water bottle is too tall to be upright inside the bag. So I’m currently on the hunt for a smaller glass water bottle which is a compromise because I drink a lot of water. Also the Velcro to secure the bag closed is very loud so if you are walking into a quiet meeting or class make sure you open the bag before entering. I was looking for a smaller bag so in that regard I am happy with this model.

I have been using the same model TImbuk2 messenger bag as a briefcase to commute on my motorcycle for several years. It has become worn so I decided to replace it with the same model. This is the worst de-contenting I have ever seen on a product. I couldnt transfer all of the contents from the old bag to the new because of the lack of practical features. The old bag had a designated laptop compartment where I could also keep cords. The new one just has a divider. The old bag had a carry handle. The new one only has the shoulder strap. The old one had an outside pocket where I kept my work ID. The new one doesnt. The old one had much larger, more useful pockets. The outside tag is especially ridiculous. It says Timbuk2 San Francisco, as if they are proud of the clowns that made the decision to make this bag less practical. The inside tag indicates it was made in Vietnam. I think they could have afforded a few more dollars in materials and labor to produce a practical bag. The next time I need a similar bag, I probably wont choose Timbuk2.

This is a standard, classic messenger bad. Its expensive, but sturdy. The attention to detail is impressive, and nearly every aspect is finely tuned. The shoulder pad is large, comfy, and not too bulky. The straps are intuitive and do their jobs well. The main compartment is HUGE and I am astonished by how much it can carry. The simple fold-over flap keeps the water out, and expands when the bag is full, but still covers the contents well. The bag has plenty of zippered compartments, and a separate document pouch with a rigid edge that keeps your papers flat. Ive biked plenty of times in the rain and my stuff stays dry. In all, it cant get much better than this.

I bought this for my daughter to replace her old (different brand) messenger bag. She likes the construction, and the fact that she can carry it around campus in weather without her stuff getting wet. She also can get a lot of stuff in there! She might have preferred a larger size, but loved this print, and it really does carry quite a bit - plenty for the typical college day, just maybe not enough to pack for a weekend home.

This is a perfect size for a daily commute! Lunch, water bottles, purse, laptop, extra shoes. Like that it has a couple small zipper compartments, strong Velcro and snap closures.

    Greater than one week

I was a little disappointed in this product based on the description and video presentation. I feel like maybe I received a factory second. I bought this bag so I could carry my 32 oz. water bottle that is actually a little taller and has a smaller circumference that the standard Nalgene bottle pictured in the ads and other reviews on the web. The so called water bottle pouch is so small I can barely get a 16 oz water bottle in it without smashing it a little. To me, this is way off as advertised. I could have went for a different brand for a 1/3 of the price, but I thought I would pay for the innovation in design.
