> 24 hourI could deal with the fact that these hooks are plastic instead of metal- I assumed it was for the weight. But the handles are not comfortable- they are made of hard, solid plastic, not the same material as the smaller Clover hooks. Disappointed! I love my Clover hooks with metal tips.

> 24 hourI have many hooks and I now have all the sizes in Clover Amour. Love these. Very smooth insertion, just the right length of shaft and perfect slant to the hook. I crochet with velvet yarn and the other hooks are not as smooth and no one wants yarn drag.

> 24 hourHonestly, I dont care for the plastic hooks. I can tell that they have tried to make these as smooth as possible, but they will never be as slick or as fast as aluminum hooks. I also dont care for the grip. They caused me to crochet way too loosey goosey. I like the little indention on a regular hook so you know where to put your finger and thumb. I cant hold these the same way Ive been holding a crochet hook for the past 57 years! Also, I prefer an inline hook, like my favorite Susan Bates, which seems to catch the yarn better. With these hooks, it seems like Im circling 3-4 times before catching my yarn. I used them for one project, but Ill probably never use again.
