That little bend in the end makes weaving in the tails of projects so much easier. Darning needles are already a must in the knitting world, but these are just the best Ive ever worked with.

The usual excellent darning needles, but took 2+ weeks to arrive from this purchasing source. If you have that kind of arrival window, great, but I should’ve gone down the street to purchase. When I contacted them, they only said they are a large source and can’t fulfill the order any faster. Very disappointed in their service.

Excellent set of darning needles I use for my knitting to add words, hearts, etc to a knitted hand towels. They work wonderfully.

These needles were quite a bit larger than what I was looking for ... and the curved tip throws me off. They are very thick, & the tip is also VERY blunt, making it impossible to slip through a strand of yarn. Im also not sure what theyre made of ... sprayed aluminum? Heavy plastic? They just feel very light weight & flimsy in spite of their girth. While I like the convenience of being able to store my good needles in the container because its fairly sizable & easy to find quickly, it is cheap plastic, & in my not always so humble openguin, over priced. These needles might work with heavy, bulky yarns, but are way too large for working in the tails on projects (crochet for me) using DK, sport weight, or baby yarns. Even with the bulkier yarns, Im not at all sure youd be able to pierce the strand. Sorry. I calls em like I sees em. ;)

I use these needles for working in ends and finishing my knitting and crocheting projects. The crooked end is very useful for picking up stitches. Also, the container is handy for keeping them from getting lost. I love the Japanese. They think of every last detail.

These needles work much better than straight ones. I always used to have trouble with the other ones. The slightly-bent tip makes it much easier to get in and under a stitch, and they are much likely to come off the tip because of that bent tip.

I work for a knitting magazine and these needles are like gold currency around the office. The bent tips make them ideal for seaming and theyre just blunt enough to not split yarn but sharp enough that they slide through even smaller gauged knits. The Chibi is the best way to keep them organized and you can toss it in a knitting bag without having to worry about delicate items being punctured or a needle worming its way through a loosely woven bag and getting lost. I buy the needles in bulk and always make sure I have a Chibi with me when Im working on a project.

The needles are fine; the Chibi case is not very sturdy. The case broke at the threaded neck. Sigh. I have plenty of needles. Just wish I coul buy only a new case because yes, it is the handiest way to carry my needles.
