These needles are amazing! Im so glad I bought these to weave in my crochet ends. Also the little blue case is cute. :)

I ordered this because I misplaced the one I had owned for years. what a disappointment, the original was metal and had a sturdy case. this was has a very cheap plastic needle painted a fake metal cover and a flimsy case. I will put extra effort into finding my original because this one is worthless. once again made in China really says it all.

regarding darning needles. I decided that since I really didnt know what I was doing, I should have both types at my fingertips so I could keep going without waiting for an order to arrive. I look forward to learning to darn my hubbys socks. It seems to be a lost art and if I can figure it out, Ill pass it down to my 4 (maybe 5 in March?) grand daughters so this will at least be passed on!

In general, I really like these needles and I use them all the time for finishing off my knitting & crochet projects. My one complaint is that while they look metal (metallic finish), theyre actually plastic needles and Ive had a couple of them break on me. The shape of the needle and the case is great, but the plastic quality is poor. Wish they were actual metal that would last for many years.

What I always use in sewing up my knitted projects. The bent tip works so much better than the straight tips.
