> 3 dayThese needles were quite a bit larger than what I was looking for ... and the curved tip throws me off. They are very thick, & the tip is also VERY blunt, making it impossible to slip through a strand of yarn. Im also not sure what theyre made of ... sprayed aluminum? Heavy plastic? They just feel very light weight & flimsy in spite of their girth. While I like the convenience of being able to store my good needles in the container because its fairly sizable & easy to find quickly, it is cheap plastic, & in my not always so humble openguin, over priced. These needles might work with heavy, bulky yarns, but are way too large for working in the tails on projects (crochet for me) using DK, sport weight, or baby yarns. Even with the bulkier yarns, Im not at all sure youd be able to pierce the strand. Sorry. I calls em like I sees em. ;)

> 3 dayI was hoping these were the same as the original Chibi needles but they arent. These are gold colored with a slightly textured surface, not smooth shiny metal like the originals. They are a bit longer too, but they will do for now.

> 3 dayThese have been a staple in my craft stash for a long time! I have a few different darning needles but I always reach for these. The case it comes in is the cherry on top. I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re knitting socks or crocheting lace - they’re perfect for the other 99% of projects!

> 3 dayFantastic...such an advantage over regular needles, which I have used backwards for darning! Just the right bluntness. I also purchased Clover darning needles that did not come with a case - they fit in the case with these. Bought a wooden (Lacis) darning egg and it works great with these needles.

> 3 dayThe needles have a larger needle eye suitable for yarn. The bent tip makes it easier to pick up stitches when weaving yarn ends. I love these!
