This is nicely made. It cuts thread well although it does not give as clean a cut as you would get with sharp embroidery scissors. I think it is perfect for what it does, and it looks nice too.

This is great item to have when traveling when youre going to be checked (i.e. TSA) because it appears to be a piece of jewelry and its perfect to cut worsted or small sized yarns. And its pretty too!

I bought one of these several years ago, and I dont know how I managed to lose it, but when you arent allowed to carry scissors or knives around in the workplace, this is perfect.

I crochet alot when I travel as well as at home. No problem getting this cutting tool through airport security. It is convient and very accesible worn around my neck --- it is generally the necklace youll find me wearing. This size is perfect for yarn and embroidery thread.
