CMARS Smart Plug, ZigBee Switch Mini Smart Outlet Works with ST, Alexa, Echo (4th gen) Echo Plus (2nd) Google Home, Works as a Range Extender, Hub Required （2 Pack）

Ive so far set up 4 of these smart outlets and it took a total of about 4 minutes. Im using these with the Hubitat C7 hub and they instantly pair as a Generic Zigbee Outlet and work perfectly. They are controllable through the Google Assistant via Hubitat (remember you must add new devices in the Hubitat Google Home app). I must say that Im using these pretty close to my hub so I couldnt tell you anything about their ability to work at a far distance, but for the price, these outlets are great.

I have an odd C-shaped apartment layout with lots of 2.4GHz interference (mainly WiFi from neighbors and lots of walls) that’s really not very conducive to a good ZigBee network. So, I purchased these to help bring my living room (on one end of the house) in range to my SmartThings hub (on the other end), which happens to be in a bit of a radio shadow for my SmartThings Hub. I found some spots that happened to link up my living room to the hub through a few hops and now my devices are up and running again. It’s a little slow right now so I’m going to get even more of these to make the mesh network even more robust.

Ok for the money

A simple well-built plug that does what it meant it. Set up was very easy and I was able to use this with my hue hub and my hue wall switch to control my hue lights and the plug altogether. Recommend this plug for anyone that uses Hue lights and wants to integrate non hue products into your smart home system.

The smart plugs are being used for old Lamps. With the amazon ones I am not able to fit 2 in a socket but these are great. Wonderful product, easy to use and easy to set up

Still a bit too large for 2 in a single outlet. Cheap. fast. and work. always detect in my Hubitat and never a problem. I now run 8 of them. Update - Annoying development is that I used one in my bedroom. the LED is so bright as to make it painful to sleepy eyes. The driver/software does NOT allow the LED to be disabled - use of 3rd party led covers (Tinted film or Electrical Tape) is the only option. I have removed 1 full star due to this problem.

Surprisingly good, especially for how little they cost. Paired quickly with Phillips Hue hub and integrates perfectly with all the other bulbs in the house. The compact size is great, much smaller than other smart plugs. And the status led, although somewhat bright at least stays steadily lit unlike the sonoff plugs that are constantly flashing. Very happy with these plugs. They allowed me to ditch the wifi plugs I had controlling string lights indoors and out that would regularly lose connection. Now my non-smart light strings are just as reliable as the ridiculously expensive hue stuff.

Im using these with Home Assistant with the ZHA integration using a flashed Sonoff zigbee bridge and also tested them with the Conbee II/Deconz integration. The deconz recognized them automatically and added them. They work as routers/repeaters and so far Ive had no problems controlling them.

I have over 50 of these controlling my house, shop, greenhouse, high tunnel and garage. But why did they make the so big that they take up over half of the outlet.

Worked great for a short time. I had these for maybe 1-2 months, which worked great. However, both stopped working at almost the exact same time. I couldnt even use the manual button to control the power. I now need to buy another one to replace it, so I am going to find one from a different brand, which will hopefully last longer.
