> 3 dayI’m got these for use with a SmartThings hub and found that they were so easy to pair. Plug them into the outlet and they will immediately be discoverable in the SmartThjngs app where they can be setup with one click and you’re done. They work exactly as advertised and are much cheaper than competitors (often half the price). I’ve used several other brands and these paired easier than any including SmartThings own outlets and they are just as responsive when manually controlled from the app or as part of an automation. The only downside I see is the indicator light is fairly bright. I use one in a bedroom and it throws a bright glow in a darkened room. I used a bit of electrical tape to cover the light and problem solved. I highly recommend these and I’m looking for something else to automate so I have an excuse to buy more!

Greater than one weekI have an odd C-shaped apartment layout with lots of 2.4GHz interference (mainly WiFi from neighbors and lots of walls) that’s really not very conducive to a good ZigBee network. So, I purchased these to help bring my living room (on one end of the house) in range to my SmartThings hub (on the other end), which happens to be in a bit of a radio shadow for my SmartThings Hub. I found some spots that happened to link up my living room to the hub through a few hops and now my devices are up and running again. It’s a little slow right now so I’m going to get even more of these to make the mesh network even more robust.

> 3 dayMy whole house is quickly becoming automated with these smart devices, all centered around the SmartThings hub. I started by outfitting all of my light switches with ZWave specific devices. I have a number of other devices as well such as door sensors, locks, etc. I still had a few lamps around though that werent on switches, so I got these smart plugs to control those. These outlets and nice and small with a flat front. Perfect for hiding behind bookshelves. Its worth noting that these outlets use the Zigbee protocol as opposed to ZWave, but both are fully supported by SmartThings. I had no issue getting these to join my network. Simply plug it into the wall outlet, then in the SmartThings app, let it find any new devices. It came up almost instantly. If you are not a SmartThings user, supposedly you can just plug these in and have Alexa discover and control them. Ive not had a chance to try that. Once you add these to your hub, the possibilities are endless. Currently I have these lamps come on automatically at sunset each day. You could also automate turning these on when someone arrives home at night, etc. Great little devices. Not to mention the 12 months replacement/refund warranty on defective items. Would definitely purchase again when needed.

> 3 dayI have been using these plugs for 11 months, and I have not run into any issues. They have been working perfectly with Home Assistant. 1 Plug has been controlling a humidifier with no issues for the 11 months. The other plug is controlling a light, but it has been a short time for that one.

> 3 dayThe plugs all worked out of the box as described and were easily discovered by Alexa. Everything works perfectly!

> 3 dayApril 2021 - When I received the plugs, they were a different brand, and didnt work with SmartThings. Oddly, they came with a card that referenced to reach out to CMARS for support, but CMARS confirmed these were NOT their plugs. ---- May 2021 - CMARS offered to replace the fake plugs (branded Gosund) with the correct CMARS plugs, and apologized for the inconvenience (which was Amazons fault as the fulfiller, not CMARS). Well, the new plugs came, and they work a treat. Right out of the box, theyre as simple to set up with SmartThings as I could hope for. 30-seconds from out of the box, to controlling my lamp with ST. Definitely recommend buying from CMARS if you want good service.

> 3 dayI bought a bunch of these about a year ago and they worked fine. However, recently theyve started to fail. So far, three have failed. They no longer respond to commands and cant even be operated from the switch on the unit itself. These are not a good deal in the long run.

> 3 dayI am using Home Assistant on my home sever, I used these to automate my reptile tanks. Install was of course easy, linking to Home Assistant was very easy and it picked them right up. I am purchasing 3 more packs of two for other tanks and some other things I want control over.

> 3 dayThey work, but the range is short so they are not good repeaters. I ended up replacing all of them with Innr plugs which have a far more reliable signal.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs paired easily. So I was initially happy. But one plug died in less than a month. Won’t switch on even manually.
