> 24 hourThese paints are Amazing!! There just what I needed, to add gold touches to my illustrations. Theyre super easy to use, glides on the paper so smoothly with an even coat. The only thing I suggest is applying a light wash of yellow or grey if youre using the silver color. On the places you intended to put matelic paint. It applies easier then painting directly on the paper and I believe it helps the color stand out more.

> 24 hourBeen looking for a good/decent set of metallic watercolors and had my eye on this for about a year. After all that time I finally decided to get it and wasnt disappointed! Just be sure to sprinkle them with water and let it sit at least 30 seconds for best results

> 24 hourThis paint is quite beautiful, of a good quality, and it can be used for subtle effects or layered to get a more solid, foil-like appearance. It flows nicely on the paper and seems to work well with my other watercolors. So far, Ive used ot to add some discreet gold color to paintings of autumn aspen trees, and also to make a deep gold background for a single aspen leaf. Both came out looking classy. I find it especially attractive on a rougher, more highly textured watercolor paper. People at my gallery like the paintings Ive made using it, and have been asking what I used. I do wish that in place of one of the similar looking gold colors, there were more of a coppery color, instead, just to add some variety to the set. Im looking forward t trying it out on dark colored paper and also mixing with other paints to get certain colors and effects. Once Ive found time to try that, I may come back and add more detail to my thoughts on its uses.

> 24 hourI love Coliro gold and silver metallic watercolor paints. The rich, metallic pigments range from silver through both warm and cool gold tones with a smooth, creamy consistency that is a delight to paint with and that layers easily. They especially stand out well on darker paper and pop beautifully when contrasting other rich, deep watercolor hues. They also mix well with regular watercolors to create metallic pigments in a wide variety of different colors, making them incredibly versatile. Theyre wonderful when used alongside metallic leaf in the same painting, too. As a side note, to ensure these paints flow as desired, spray them with water or place several drops of water into each well and allow them to sit for several minutes before use. This softens the paint first and improves how well they flow across the paper. I love Coliro metallic watercolors and highly recommend them to other artists and illustrators, as well as hand-letterers looking to add a nice metallic pop to their lettering work. Theyre wonderful!

> 24 hour100% worth the price. Yes it is a bit expensive but I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. The colors are so so pigmented and work so well on card stock. It applies very smoothly as well. If you are looking to add touch of gold on cards or paintings, look no further. This is by far my favorite metallic paint, it is so incredibly reflective and shiny as well!

> 24 hourOMG the colors are beautiful. I use this with calligraphy pens so its kind of annoying cause I have to water it down and then use a paintbrush to apply to the nib but the color looks so nice. Its the nicest gold paint Ive ever used. No if only I can get the new colors on amazon.... if you look at the photo, I wrote Karen in finetec and the address using another brand ink. Finetec just has so much shine and sparkle in it that other paints dont have.

> 24 hourI was a bit skeptical regarding the quality of the product. BUT I was greatly surprised. Ordered the chocolate covered and I am very very pleased with this product. I own a calligraphy business and presenting my work to future clients will only be enhanced by your folders. The brown is very elegant and with the linen it only enhances the folder. The texture is not so pronounced until you cant write on the surface (which is a added bonus). Thank you Amazon.

> 24 hourMix with your regular colors to get a pearlescent or shimmery effect Or In Your Face metallic version of it. No need to buy the tempting colorful pallets or individual deep turquise metallics etc.. I LOVE these paints. Super versatile and gorgeous effects. Completely worth the money.
