> 3 dayGot this palette to make Christmas cards and they exceeded expectations! There is an array of gold colors which each had their own unique shimmer and base color so that one can find the color which has the desired effects. I was surprised at how easily the colors activated with water, and when using a #3 WC brush the amount of color pigment went just as far as the amount of water in the brush. I was able to produce not only a varied-colored (gold & silver) wreath, I was also able to create a handdrawn gold border on other watercolor cards I had made. Look forward to using this set in the years to come!!!

> 3 dayBeen looking for a good/decent set of metallic watercolors and had my eye on this for about a year. After all that time I finally decided to get it and wasnt disappointed! Just be sure to sprinkle them with water and let it sit at least 30 seconds for best results

> 3 dayThis paint is quite beautiful, of a good quality, and it can be used for subtle effects or layered to get a more solid, foil-like appearance. It flows nicely on the paper and seems to work well with my other watercolors. So far, Ive used ot to add some discreet gold color to paintings of autumn aspen trees, and also to make a deep gold background for a single aspen leaf. Both came out looking classy. I find it especially attractive on a rougher, more highly textured watercolor paper. People at my gallery like the paintings Ive made using it, and have been asking what I used. I do wish that in place of one of the similar looking gold colors, there were more of a coppery color, instead, just to add some variety to the set. Im looking forward t trying it out on dark colored paper and also mixing with other paints to get certain colors and effects. Once Ive found time to try that, I may come back and add more detail to my thoughts on its uses.

> 3 dayI love these gorgeous golden colours! They are perfect for adding a special touch to a card or painting. What I love is that unlike other gold paints, they do not dry up & crack. All you do is moisten with water, & paint. Who needs to spend money on gold sheets, these work well. Great price from Amazon, free shipping, Win Win!

> 3 dayThis product was used by an artist I follow on YouTube. They are AWESOME !! Goes on smooth and easy and wonderful to work with! A suggestion she gave - have a separate pallete with the sparkles from your other paints!

Greater than one weekI had read many reviews of different glittery metallic paints before deciding that Coliro pearl colors would be the best for me. Im very happy with my purchase. The package arrived quickly and in good condition. The paints rewet easily and work like magic on my watercolor art. They add a special touch to my paintings and its even fun to just watch the mica move in the palette. The plastic palette also feels sturdy and easy to take while traveling. The company also reached out to me and were very very accommodating. I would definitely order from them again for my next set of metallic paints.

> 3 dayUPDATE: I contacted Finetec about the problem and they handled it INCREDIBLY well. Not only did they send a replacement for the paint set that had bubbles in it, but they sent me another complimentary set plus some bonus colors to make up for it just that much more! Ive updated my rating to give stars, to reflect the quality of paints themselves and the willingness of Finetec to rectify production errors~ Old Review: These paints are great quality. The colors are beautiful and shiny, absolutely outstanding. But theres a big problem with the palette I received: some of the cakes in my set have a big bubble in them. It doesnt seem present in all the cakes, but then again I havent used all of them equally. I tested each color and did a little lettering with each. After letting water sit on them a while I stirred the surface so I could letter with them and the champagne silver ended up with a hole in it. No matter who you are, a mere half hour of lettering wont blow through to the bottom of the pan of your paint. After letting them dry a little, the paints were still pliable. To my surprise, I was able to press down onto some of the paints and into what seemed to be a pocket of nothing, almost as though there was a manufacturing error that resulted in an air bubble inside my paint. This occurred in four of the colors from what I can tell, those being the Bronze, the Champagne Silver, and the two yellow gold colors in between them. I was quite disappointed at this, as these werent particularity cheap for me and Im ending up with a lot less paint than I paid for. Ive included a photo of the set after my brief usage of the paints where you can see the noticeable dips in each color I mentioned above. In short, these paints are great. The quality is good and the colors are dazzling, but for the price I paid and the amount Im getting out of it, I wouldnt deem it worth the gamble. Im serious about my art supplies, so this occurrence was a big letdown. Ill update my rating if I can get this fixed, but until then this is my score.

> 3 dayreally pretty paints!! they are a bit harder to work with than typical watercolors, other than that the colors are fun and look good as accents. That being said, you only really need 3 of these colors, the white shimmer, and a warm and cool gold, all the other colors look like watered down versions or mixtures.

> 3 dayHonestly, the title says it all-- I love this paint. Almost every color is stunning and easy to use. I add a little water about a minute or so before I intend to use it (as per instructions on the box) and then add a wee bit more when Im prepping my brush. The paint goes on solid and cleans up easily afterward. The only reason I gave this four stars and only love almost every color, is that I have had consistent trouble with the Stirling Silver. It takes 3-5 coats to be solid for me and I found myself simply swapping back to acrylic for those sections. So far this has lasted through six paintings and the pans barely look touched (except for the Inca Gold which might be my favorite) The color differences between the golds is very subtle sometimes which made blending a couple colors very fun. Overall Im pretty sure this was one of the best purchases Ive made in a long time.

> 3 dayI have to start by explaining that the paints have to be activated a minute before you are planning to use them by adding a bit of water and just letting it sit. After the activating the result is so beautiful! Completely mesmerizing with the intensity and pearliness. Ive attached a picture drawn with these, but it doesnt do them any justice. I am planning to try Finetecs second set of pearly watercolors, Im sure I wont be dissapointed.
