I hadnt written a full review of this product until now, but Ive been using this umbrella for several months and the customer service was so good that I wanted to recognize them! I absolutely love carrying this umbrella. The design reminds me of Japanese parasols, but much sturdier. I have gotten SO many compliments on this umbrella since I bought it, and I love how I can actually stay dry underneath it, even when it rains hard! The number of rods increases the weight a bit, but I havent found it to be overly cumbersome, and staying dry is worth the weight. Its very sturdy and the mechanism to open it is very smooth - I had an issue with the runner getting caught which was easily taken care of when I contacted the customer service. The customer service is incredible, super responsive and very helpful!

Solid, beautifully designed extraordinary and sturdy umbrella

A beautiful umbrella. Haven’t tested it in the rain yet, however it feels very sturdy. It is exactly as pictured and I’m very happy with the purchase!

If you want a solid umbrella, this is it! I have bought dozens that dont last, I have no doubt this one will. The shape is cute, the weight is balanced. The handle is REAL wood! The material does its job and feels very sturdy. As soon as more are available, I will be buying one for multiple family members so they dont steal mine.

I was so excited until i realized it was swaying. The fiberglass handle was frayed towards the handle and could easily snap. I hope the replacement does not disappoint like this one.

It’s the sturdiest and obviously most durable umbrella I have ever owned or even seen. Has genuine quality feel to the hand. The price is best! It is easily $120 less costly than ones had admired in Seattle shops. Did I mention competent, friendly post-sale customer service? I am very happy with this umbrella and can’t wait for the next downpour.

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t think I could get this excited for an umbrella. The handle felt amazing and the metal tip makes it perfect for using as a fancy cane as well! Definitely love this umbrella!

The first time I opened it, one of the stretchers detached. The joiners (the joints canopy folds on) where the stretchers connect to the ribs, are cheap thin plastic, with brittle aluminum rivets for joints. Everything else about this umbrella is good quality. Why did they cheap out on the part most likely to fail!? Maybe by design?
