I have wanted a British style umbrella for quite some time. This one doesn’t not disappoint. It arrived quickly. I was very impressed with the quality. The handle is sturdy, the frame is durable. It’s much more sturdy than the other umbrellas I’ve had before. I love the elegant, sophisticated look. Have used it several times and it’s perfect. Holds up well in the wind; no worries about it flipping or breaking. The only thing I would change is the ability to have the handle custom engraved. But I am VERY pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

This is by far the best umbrella I have ever bought. The handle has a nice solid feel, the framework is well built and sturdy, and the umbrella tip is metal. I love this umbrella so much I look forward to rainy days where I can pull this baby out and stunt on all the other Americans wit their cheap made-in-China compact umbrellas that don’t last more than a month.

So, it isnt bad, per se, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this article about a year ago and I now regret it. Some people have mentioned the chipping on the wood. One of the reasons I bought this item is because I thought the etching on the handle meant that the handle had to be solid wood. I was wrong. Now I am stuck with obnoxious branding that reveals on close observation the *imitation* of wood etching. The umbrella feels like a cheap umbrella pretending to be an expensive umbrella, which (in my mind) makes it worse than a cheap umbrella that knows its place. Then there are the dozens of other smaller things that bug me, but arent reason enough to buy another one or seek a refund. Lately I have been noticing a slight leak at the top, only enough to release a drop or two every 15 minutes, but definitely there and definitely annoying. One of the caps on the end of the umbrella, connecting the fabric to the skeleton, gets loose and I keep having to put it back on. The strap oftentimes gets lost when you try wind it up. The fabric wrinkles easily despite how thin it is. It was only a couple months after purchase that it got inverted, twice, due to wind. In short, if you are gonna drop a lot of money on an umbrella, make sure you get a good umbrella. A Gustbuster, for instance, or a Balios. A sexy, chic bad-boy that will make you proud and will last forever or until you lose it at a train station.

Its worth the price. I got this as a gift for a guy very serious about his umbrella usage. its very strong, and is as described. it will last, its big, and it has a curved handle, as requested. I figured, where else would the best umbrella come from? why from London of coarse. shoot, My dear friend loves his new umbrella so much, he thanks me again and tells me about his rain adventures every time I see him. Hes very proud of his gift, and I feel great that I got him something he appreciates, yay me =)

The handle is different, not varnished, rustic-looking, pale, unfinished, but umbrella has worked well so far, well packaged, arrived in good condition

The umbrella is very sturdy and well made. It is nice and large when open and is big enough for 2 people.

After the recent California storms eviscerated two cheap umbrellas in a single day, I ordered this British looking umbrella as a replacement. While I waited for it to arrive, the rain kept coming, and I kept getting soaked. It arrived today, right at a break in the rain. Eager to try it out, I waited for the rain to return. An hour later, when the deafening roar of raindrops was echoing off my roof, I got ready to go out to dinner. When I stepped outside with the umbrella, I beheld its awesome power; the rain has stopped. This umbrella doesnt just repel rain, it causes it to stop raining. As I enjoyed a plate of brisket and ribs from my favorite BBQ joint, I watched the rain return outside with a vengeance. Eager to ride into battle with my new rain weapon, I finished up dinner and prepared to venture out again into the torrent. Behold! The magic umbrella had again parted the clouds and stopped the rain. I took the opportunity to open. The umbrella and examine the fine craftsmanship. This is truly the last umbrella you will ever need.

If you want a hearty and sophisticated umbrella, this is a fabulous choice. Perfect, substantial handles and form. I bought them mainly because I wanted just nice, plain black umbrellas for my umbrella stands at the front and side doors of our home but these are super-lovely and moreover highly functional, just ordered another. Very pleased.

Compré la sombrilla hace un tiempo ya pero quise tener el tiempo suficiente para dar un concepto claro, en terminos generales es una sombrilla muy bien fabricada, los materiales son buenos y la robustez de la misma da confianza al momento de usarla, en la ciudad que vivo el tiempo es muy variable por lo que pasar de un día soleado a una tormenta es normal, sin embargo en ambas circustancias no he tenido problemas con la sombrilla por lo cual la uso con total seguridad y tranquilidad, sin embargo hay un problema con el material con el que pintan el mango de madera, ya que facilmente se cae haciendo que la sombrilla tenga un mal aspecto como se ve en la imagen, si eres una persona que debe darle un uso intenso a la sombrilla debes tener cuidado con el mango o en cuestión de semanas comenzarás a ver la pérdida de pintura, salvo este detalle recomiendo por completo el producto.
