Its worth the price. I got this as a gift for a guy very serious about his umbrella usage. its very strong, and is as described. it will last, its big, and it has a curved handle, as requested. I figured, where else would the best umbrella come from? why from London of coarse. shoot, My dear friend loves his new umbrella so much, he thanks me again and tells me about his rain adventures every time I see him. Hes very proud of his gift, and I feel great that I got him something he appreciates, yay me =)

This is by far the best umbrella I have ever bought. The handle has a nice solid feel, the framework is well built and sturdy, and the umbrella tip is metal. I love this umbrella so much I look forward to rainy days where I can pull this baby out and stunt on all the other Americans wit their cheap made-in-China compact umbrellas that don’t last more than a month.

After the recent California storms eviscerated two cheap umbrellas in a single day, I ordered this British looking umbrella as a replacement. While I waited for it to arrive, the rain kept coming, and I kept getting soaked. It arrived today, right at a break in the rain. Eager to try it out, I waited for the rain to return. An hour later, when the deafening roar of raindrops was echoing off my roof, I got ready to go out to dinner. When I stepped outside with the umbrella, I beheld its awesome power; the rain has stopped. This umbrella doesnt just repel rain, it causes it to stop raining. As I enjoyed a plate of brisket and ribs from my favorite BBQ joint, I watched the rain return outside with a vengeance. Eager to ride into battle with my new rain weapon, I finished up dinner and prepared to venture out again into the torrent. Behold! The magic umbrella had again parted the clouds and stopped the rain. I took the opportunity to open. The umbrella and examine the fine craftsmanship. This is truly the last umbrella you will ever need.

It isnt every day that one purchases an umbrella - especially when living in the desert. But I did want an umbrella, and having had more than my share of the collapsible, fit-in-your tote variety, I wanted a REAL umbrella, with a wide canopy, one very sturdy and able to withstand high winds and gusts, and strangely, one with a convenient handle. Id been to London/UK and crossed my fingers to see if amazon had a British made umbrella with the features noted above, and Voila!! I found the Collar and Cuffs umbrella with ALL the features I was wanting. It arrived with lightning speed, with a lovely, thoughtful note vowing excellent customer service. Though Ive not yet had opportunity to use the umbrella, I actually purchased TWO umbrellas as gifts for family. My husband helps people to and from the church building in inclement weather, and my beloved Sister lives in upstate New York where it rains frequently and heavily and she typically arrives at her office rather damp on such days. As the beloved sister and I are rather mad Anglophiles, I KNOW she will be tickled pink to use this umbrella after she receives it at Christmas. I told friends of the purchase, and it was so interesting that all three said they wanted the link to amazon so they could buy the umbrella as well. At least one has already purchased the same umbrella herself. So were all quite pleased with this lovely umbrella and it will be well used as occasions warrant. Thank you, COLLAR and CUFFS!!

This is a very well made and sturdy umbrella! I love it so far! Finish is beautiful in every way! The wood handle is gorgeous! Only complaint is the canopy wrap to secure the canopy when closed, clasps with a button rather than velcro. But this does provide a higher quality appearance than velcro would - velcros just a little easier to secure... I think this will last a very long time and well worth the investment!

I used to own one umbrella like this in Ireland, but then I moved and had to part ways with it. It made me incredibly sad because it was the best umbrella Ive ever had. Needless to say I am ecstatic at the opportunity to own the same model once again. This umbrella stands unrivaled in robustness. My friends are amazed at how well it handles strong winds - this umbrella does not bend. I am confident you could stop a rivers flow with this thing and it wouldnt bend an inch. It is also an incredibly stylish umbrella. I like to swing it around when carrying it when it isnt raining. This umbrella checks all the boxes.

Of all of the umbrellas I have owned in my lifetime, this is the best! And you cant help but do the British Strut and imagine you are strolling along Picadilly Circus. Youll want to carry it with you even when its not raining... its that cool!

Hago esta reseña en español ya que creo que los compradores que no dominan el inglés también merecen reseñas que les puedan servir al momento de adquirir un producto. Compré la sombrilla hace un tiempo ya pero quise tener el tiempo suficiente para dar un concepto claro, en terminos generales es una sombrilla muy bien fabricada, los materiales son buenos y la robustez de la misma da confianza al momento de usarla, en la ciudad que vivo el tiempo es muy variable por lo que pasar de un día soleado a una tormenta es normal, sin embargo en ambas circustancias no he tenido problemas con la sombrilla por lo cual la uso con total seguridad y tranquilidad, sin embargo hay un problema con el material con el que pintan el mango de madera, ya que facilmente se cae haciendo que la sombrilla tenga un mal aspecto como se ve en la imagen, si eres una persona que debe darle un uso intenso a la sombrilla debes tener cuidado con el mango o en cuestión de semanas comenzarás a ver la pérdida de pintura, salvo este detalle recomiendo por completo el producto.

It looks and feels very sturdy, even the ribs are made of fiberglass. Its good for dog walking.
