If you follow the directions and treat it like a cable you just spent > $50 on, youll be fine. Being a Chinese copy of the Diamond part doesnt seem to make a difference quality-wise but I only bought one.

Windows in our leased house are the swing-out variety, so the usual slide-window pass-throughs dont fit. I eventually bought three of these, one for HF, one for VHF and one for UHF. Insertion loss is better than I expected, and SWR is acceptable in all three bands. The only downside is that being as thin as they are theyre not the sturdiest. Best used in locations where you can put them in and then dont open/close the windows a lot.

Using this on a window that seldom opens. I didnt measure any lose loss in signal strength. Accurate description and performance.

$60 for this?? I graduated to big power, and even my transceivers running barefoot will not work well with this. I ran a Heathkit HW101, Yeasu FT857D, FT1200DX, FT897, all had more loss using this than using a piece of square tube closed into a window with SO259/239 connectors, and N connectors, as well as ladder line, hard line and window line balanced cables. If you are renting, this is a very viable option, but $60!?!

It’s expensive for what it is but it is the best thing I have found for feeding coax through a window. I added suction cups to it, 2 on each connection and it holds tight to the window and doesn’t beat the glass up in the wind.

I run many rigs and because I use low power on all of them this co axial cable pass through is a go to for me. The pass through eliminates the need to drill holes through my home walls for cable.

Works as advertised. Doesn’t destroy the weatherstrip and the antenna works like a charm.

When drilling through the wall is forbidden, or if there is no way to make a sufficient hole for your coaxial cable, then a Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumper may be the problem solver that you need! Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumpers are flexible, 50 ohm, flat feedline assemblies with SO-239 UHF female connectors at each end. They are used for routing RF through a window frame without drilling holes in the wall or leaving a window/door open for the coax cable or connectors. These window-gap jumpers are almost 16 in. long and are made from copper-clad steel and PET plastic to allow for a low power transfer of RF with a nominal loss of only 0.5 dB up to 500 MHz, and they are useable up to 1300 MHz! Whether you route it through a sliding door or window, you can close the door or window securely without damaging the coax!
